My son and I frequent Glo Restaurant for lunch often.

The food, ambiance, service, and view is wonderful.

They'll even cover your $5.00 parking ticket.

We tried the bacon covered shrimp for Appies. Hola!!

My favourite is the 12 hour brisket sandwich. Yum!!

How about include a vegetarian option in your 3 course meal? And perhaps some menu updates in the area of vegetarian items. I love Glo, but I’m getting bored of the food.

Dear valued guest, We certainly are in the revamping stages of our menu improvisations as we have launched a new dessert menu as well as. a revolving lunch feature and chef's table menu that changes monthly. We were happy we had a reservation for our Wednesday lunch as the restaurant was very busy. Our service was prompt and friendly. My Buddha Bowl was excellent, as usual. The steak sandwich and lettuce wraps that were also served to our table were adequate but not outstanding. We shared an order of truffle fries which wee excellent, before our meal.

It was our first time here for a special occasion, Food was good, nice selections and very tasty. Restaurant was not busy during this time, there was plenty of staff available, but our server was not at all interested in serving us. We had to work hard to get attention and service.

We chose from the 3 course meal menu and it was delicious! Our party of four really enjoyed the evening...the service was exceptional, the waitress was very attentive and dimmed the spotlights for us ( the lights were a little bright above our table) we would absolutely recommend Glo!

They took away the plates right away even if there’s still one of us eating, our server wasn’t really attentive to our table.

Service was poor, delay in initial service, one guest had a severe allergy and message was not passed to the kitchen. I requested a table with a view in advance was given table by window, with plants covering up the view of junk pile. Food was so-so. Not worth the $

Had a nice dinner with my celiac daughter. We dont usually eat bread but love the GF Glo bread! Always good. We also enjoyed our entrees, a pasta dish and I had the Buddha bowl with tofu. Very good. Lemon meringue martini was top notch and daughter enjoyed her lime margarita. We shared the Creamsicle Creme Brulee...very good. Service was pretty good. Server was friendly and helpful. A little slow with the water refill but otherwise good. Glo has always been a good experience for us, particularly with my celiac daughter.

We were a party of 4. Arrived on time, greeted with a smile and were quickly taken to our table. Very pleasant young lady (Erika) was our server for the evening, she was always available if we wanted anything, checking that everything was to our liking. Our guests were from Scotland, they had travelled right across Canada and said this was one of the best restaurants they had visited.

The service could have been better. The food was good. Atmosphere was good. The view was fantastic. We didn't like that when we arrived they said they had already seated our reservation so there must have been a mixup, as a result we were able to be seated but had a time limit for another reservation at that table after us. Not sure why they would have seated someone else as us.... The server also was not super attentive. We would go again but would hope for better service and not time limit.

Our patient server, Kelsey, was very efficient, she became our photographer for our historical chaotic 5 Wilson Sibling Last Lunch Ever, Event. The food was brilliant, a few goodie take home containers, our 15 guests from 90 yrs old down to 46 yrs, ALL impressed with your view, parking a bit tricky for some, overall a 3 hour celebration, with my 77 yr old, wheelchair, Selkirk resident eldest brother, situation, fun, fun, fun. Thank you Dallas, and other staff supporting our joy.

My wife and I went for a Friday evening dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The service was spot on, the wait staff worked liked a well choreographed ballet! The ONLY complaint we have is that the sound travels and echos throughout making intimate conversations out of the question. But other than that, we loved and will come again.

We were 15-20 minutes early and were told our table wasn't ready please take a seat. After a few minutes we were told we could have a table but had to be out within 2 hours. The service was so slow I didn't know if we'd be out in time. We could have skipped dessert, but it was Mom's birthday so didn't want to do that. All in all it did not make me feel warm and welcomed.

The table prior to you was probably in midst of finishing up service- hence being unable to seat early. The hostess team tried to get you sooner and the table that was available had a secondary seat. Lovely meal with family visiting for first time.

Glo restaurant is a modern, vibrant place in a trendy area with condo developments in the Gorge part of Victoria. Water views are lovely and Glo has a nice patio on the water (not in use when we dined there due to rain). There are tropical plants on the patio. Our server was friendly and on-the-ball. For a Thursday night it was quite busy and fairly noisy. The menu is interesting and reasonable with choices for every palate. I had the Buddha Bowl with prawns and it was tasty but there was way too much sauce and it was spicier than I liked. Our server offered to bring me more rice to "soak up the sauce" which I accepted. It helped a lot but then it was too much food altogether. Anyway I would definitely return and probably choose a different menu item. It is a nice place to eat and I would recommend it.

Glo is one of our favourite restaurants in Victoria. As locals who live in Esquimalt, Glo is our "go to" place to eat or for a cocktail on the beautiful patio. When we have company in town, this is where we take them as the food and service is consistently great. We dinned there recently when we had friends here from Ontario. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the meal. Highly recommended.

Beautiful venue,perfect lighting, amazing floral arrangements. Palm trees outside on the generous patio. Great service, many available servers and staff. Very busy and high energy, DJ working background music. I had the Buddha bowl with added prawns, lots of great veggies included, great flavors, generous portion. My table partner had the Beef Carpaccio, great presentation and delicious, and also the Tuna appie, again done right and more than enough to share. Reservations for sure, and try to pick a sunny day, we would have liked to enjoy the patio,it is right on the water.

I made a reservation for my birthday and indicated such on the reservation. No acknowledgement was made. I ordered the steak and surf. The steak was tough and chewy even though I asked for it to be cooked rare. My partner was not impressed with their meal either. The waitress did not come by to ask how our meal was. Decent atmosphere. High end pub? A little like a Moxie's wanna be. Best to stick with drinks and appetizers, otherwise for the amount you spend, go somewhere with better food.
