An unfortunate encounter with hotel management. The dinner and food was fine and enjoyable. However my guest had a completely negative experience with the manager on duty. The restaurant staff told me that my guest, my former boss, could park in the parking garage while dining. I gave her the access code the restaurant staff provided via cell phone. After a nice dinner, she stopped at the hotel front desk and asked if there was any trick to get out of the garage like an access code. The man at the desk, and as it turned out the manager on duty, (in her words) berated her for parking in the garage and how diners could ONLY park on the street. And when she wouldn't tell him who gave her the code, he responded "I know!" And we're talking about a woman who is a senior government manager and who has traveled to 6 continents. Not a person who feels berated easily. I called the manager today and he made it seem like it was her fault and her problem. I can't recommend this place anymore.
This place is fantastic, glad I’m in walking distance:)
Pre-concert dinner, so restaurant nearly empty at 5 PM. Perfect for quiet conversation. Food deliciously and imaginatively prepared. Service efficient but lacking in ultimate refinement (we were asked to keep cutlery from course to course; when drinks needed refilling no service personnel in sight). Would return again because of food quality and low-noise ambiance.
Poor quality of food. Prices relatively high. Nice atmospherics. Good parking.
Good, simple place. Food good, service great. Reliable place for lunch.
Caveat emptor - the outdoor space shown in the listing (and that we reserved) no longer exists, nor does the brunch menu discussed in the reviews. The staff (all two of them) were very nice, so not at all their fault, but we had overpriced, deeply mediocre food (think $18 for an indifferent veggie omelet with one piece of dry toast) in a deserted indoor space. It's convenient, but that's it.
So glad we found this place, it was a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating. Service was great and food very very good.
Amazing. Love this place. Great ambience and fantastic brunch food. Patio is 100% perfect
A disappointment. The service was great, the french fries were very good as well as the turkey/crossaint sandwich. My girlfriend enjoyed the 2 drinks she had. But the reuben sandwich was anorexic; it had very little meat. The turkey sandwich wasn't much better. The food is already overpriced so when the ingredients are skimpy it's a terrible value for the money.
We ate outdoors and we were battling mosquitoes the whole time. We finally asked the hostess for help and she lit a candle and gave us a can of Off! Better than nothing. I've dined there a few times before but this was by far the worst experience.
They don't have a a printed drink/cocktail menu yet so the waitstaff has to tell you what they have available. So you don't get the full opportunity to "review" your options before making a choice. Other than that we really enjoyed it and will definitely go back. Great outdoor space. Wear bug spray.
Great patio and food.
