We were outside and the flies were taking over our table and food. We mentioned it to the waitress and her response was - oh sorry. The food was good, but $20 extra to add on scallops and I got two!! The service wasn’t great. She didn’t come around often and we waited forever to get our check. Then kept waiting for her to come pick it up so long we left what cash we had with a smaller tip as we were ready to go and could not get her to come get the credit card.

Dined a day after thanksgiving when the town is nice and quiet (not regular KW crowded). They served top sirloin and the menu said filet mignon for the chefs special and the 8oz filet. The food was pre-prepared (was not freshly cooked). The ladies room didn’t even have toilet paper. Shockingly disappointed, given the positive reviews that led me to visit this in the first place.

The food and service were excellent. I do, however, have two complaints. 1. I specifically ordered outside seating for dinner (after all, this is Key West!). Even my confirmation reservation said outside seating. When we arrived they sat us inside. Very disappointing. 2. They included a tip in our bill. We were only a party of 4. I tip very well, but I don't agree with the tip being included in the bill. After all, what is the meaning of a tip?? Actually, I would have normally left more than they put on there.

Jarod was an excellent server who knew the menu and offered some ideal suggestions. The whole branzino entrees were wonderful (3) everyone truly enjoyed their fish and sides. Appetizers and drinks were nice as was the atmosphere. It was our first visit here, as out of state folks, but we will return because the experience was so positive.

We went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Food was good. We ate outside and brought our 2 kids with us. They do have a separate kids menu as well. Only thing I would complain about was my conch fritters were a bit hard as they seemed a bit overcooked. Also, I did set up a reservation and put that it was for a birthday but nobody at the restaurant mentioned it. My husband didn’t care because he doesn’t like being the center of attention but still. They should have at least said “happy birthday”.

Very nice ambience and outside tables. The prices on OT was a lot lower than actual…even their website prices were a bit lower…just slow in updating or ?? My Thai Curry with whole Snapper was really good. My wife enjoyed her Pan Seared Scallops. The Key Lime Pie was also very good. Our bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was very reasonable. Our server was very friendly. Food was a bit slow in delivery but all good.

The food was absolutely delicious. It's just unfortunate that multiple staff were so rude or incompetent. Asking if you want something and then never bringing it back, making you wait long periods of time for your check and at the start telling you that your reservation through OpenTable is not available for inside even though that's what you chose. I would encourage the owner to speak with his staff about customer service towards customers. Unfortunately they're making an amazing restaurant look bad

We have eaten here once before & enjoyed the meal very much. Fast forward to about a year later, made reservations for inside sitting since the weather has been very hot, humid & rainy. Upon arrival we were greeted & we told the you man we had reservations for inside at 7:15. He responded that he didn’t have any inside tables available right now would we mind outside sitting. When we said no we reserved inside he turned & walked away to check inside, returned grabbed 2 menus & motioned us to follow. Walking in throws them down & says here’s your table. The whole inside dining appeared to be empty. Not accustomed to being so rudely treated by a server I turned to by husband & said let’s go. After reading more reviews I realized the food gets pretty good comments but there are many negative comments about the service.

The food was awful, and tasteless ! We finally got some bread at the end of the meal and it was stale ! Expensive mistake and serve was slow. Never checked in on us or asked for another round of drinks. Had to track him down. Do not waste your money!!

Went on a Saturday night, sat outside. It’s loud with everyone walking by but we expected that and didn’t mind. When going inside to use the restroom, we were very glad to have been sitting outside. The ambiance inside is very Un-inviting. Anyway, our server was not personable and seemed annoyed with us in general and having to work at all. I ordered the mushroom app. It’s literally just a cup full of mushrooms topped with goat cheese. Weird. It tasted okay when you mixed it up and spread it on the 2 small pieces of bread they provide. My supposed to be well done filet mignon was red in the middle and by the time she came back to check on us I had eaten all of my sides and was full so didn’t bother sending it back. She never said anything about my having not eaten my steak. The bread they serve is dry and dense and the olive oil vinegar mix they serve it with needs seasoning for sure. We didn’t eat it because it tasted like the oil had gone bad. For a seemingly “nice” restaurant, we were very unimpressed.

It was my first time in Grand Cafe, food was good and our server Paola was very sweet, but she was very busy so we were waiting for drinks and food very very long time, we were planning to spend there one hour but we stayed 2 hours and we had to delay our plans because everything was taking way too long. Branzino fish was amazing, duck was not bad, unfortunately we had no time to have dessert, server gave us locals discount, which we really appreciate!!
