   The Brunch started off on the wrong foot as my wife took a forkful of Caesar Salad into her mouth only to discover her salad had a long piece of plastic wrap in it (which must have been use to cover big Steel Bowl of Lettuce prior to being tossed in Caesar Dressing). Restaurant did eventually “Comp” our Brunch after some follow up & questioning Server about status of management’s involvement or interest? However overall; the food quality & taste was fair to Average … French Toast in serving pans was hard, bacon was too greasy, shredded potato casserole seemed underbaked & wife’s Eggs Benedict (Egg) was sitting already made & was not soft cooked but totally hard or overcooked… no need in adding more.

   Been to a couple of others in different states and they were much better than what we experienced in Franklin. Disappointing with the overall experience and maybe they think it is okay since it is attached to a hotel and have a captive audience?

   This has to be my best Mother’s Day dinner ever - not just because of the food - but because of the “above and beyond” service we received from Cheyenne today. No, we don’t know her, never had her as a server, but never (including dining at Jimmy Kelly’s and restaurants of that caliber) have we ever had a server who was as personal, professional, and gracious as she was - all while handling numerous tables in your restaurant today. She made us feel luge we were her one and only table. Employees like her are very rare in todays world! Thank you for a wonderful Mother’s Day!

    When we made reservations they didn’t tell us that brunch was extended that day. We sat an hour waiting on lunch menu. The salmon was burnt. The dry rub wings were delicious we order 2 of those, the roast beef meal didn’t have but a spoon of potatoes we ordered 3 of those. The chicken meal was good. Our bill was $244.34 We eat here often but the service and food was not as good as it usually is.

    They were overwhelmed. We had a 11:15 reservation and were seated an hour later, and that was only because I questioned them as to why people with later reservations were being seated before us. They did not have a good answer. The restaurant was dirty, especially the floor. We had a hard time waking around because it was so greasy and slippery, with food all over it. The food itself was not anywhere near as good as it had been in the past. This was not worth the two hour drive or hour wait past our reservation time.

    This used to be a favorite place to go. The service was pretty good. However, the food took an extremely long time to get to the table and drinks even longer. Understandable why the restaurant was half empty. Willing to give it one more try…

    We had a reservation for 8:15 , standard . When we arrived there was no hostess at reception station. However , there was a sign that said dining room closed , seat yourself in bar area. There were several dirty high top tables but no available tables . The “ hostess “ arrived and said “ you can seat yourself at the bar”. We said no thank you and proceeded to leave. To say the hostess was indifferent would be putting in mildly .This is second time in a row this has happened to us . We used to go here once a week . Never again .

    Got seated on time. Food was served promptly and was excellent. Best was our server Jackson. Very attentive and courteous. Our meal time was during a very busy time of the evening so we were impressed with how everything worked smoothly even during a very hectic timeframe.

    We had our team of 12 for lunch. The service was very good. Our only complaint would be the time from ordering until food was nearly 45 minutes, however, everything was the right temperature so that was pretty amazing!

    Overall, the evening was enjoyable. The noise level allowed for normal conversations, the menu offered ample choices, and our server was attentive but not intrusive. Except for unexpectedly spicy tacos, the food was excellent.

    The waiter was attentive and super nice, but a lot did not go as ordered. Not sure what was server issue, maybe he was new, or the restaurant had issues. First, the food was cold. And after sending back, it came back cold. The order was also off with the wrong food and beverage coming out. The waiter comped one item, but the total was still messed up. Will give them another chance as they were good last time and food and value is good.

    Made reservations ahead of time, as I approached the hostess ….told them I had a reservation, was asked how many, didn’t check my reservation just walked away carrying menus, so we followed. Sat us in a tight booth, I asked for a larger booth or table, looked at me like I was asking for something for free. The table we were seated at had 2 chairs and a cushioned bench, the bench cushion was torn so badly that it was uncomfortable to sit on. Mentioned that to the server, and she gladly moved us. She was the bright part of the visit, very friendly and professional.

    Waiter was friendly but when he took our order we asked that the appetizer and entrées not come out at the same time. He brought the appetizer walked away and within 2 minutes someone else brought our entrées. The food was ok. Margaritas were really good.

    Made a last minute reservation and so glad we did. It was quite busy at the restaurant, and our server was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious- I got the Wednesday pasta special, which is really a great deal. Ambiance was good- sports on tv and live music at the perfect volume (as a lot of the time, live music is too loud for me). Enjoyed our dinner at Granite City!

    The food is always excellent here! Staff members misunderstood number of people attending and set for more than planned. We ended up waiting quite awhile since they were waiting on the rest of our group to arrive - although all of us were already there. Other than that, service and food was excellent. Thank you!!

    This was our second time dining at Granite City and it was not the experience we had the first time we visited. We went specifically for the brunch this visit. The food was excellent! However, the service was terrible. Our server never refilled our drinks. They were NON alcoholic drinks. We had to ask twice for refills, but we only received one refill. He acted like any request we had was an inconvenience to him. Definitely not the same level of service we received when we dined in for dinner a few days earlier.
