   Was told at our reservation time that the kitchen was at least 45 minutes behind and we could be seated but would only be able to get drinks. Left and may never go back as it was all handled so poorly by management.

   We go here a lot. The service is sometimes hot or miss. This night my meal was cold so did send back. She did bring a new one about 5 min later. Otherwise it was good.

   It's are favorite place to stop in for dinner. Handy location in west Omaha. Still trying different things on the menu. Liked them all so far. New it would be busy New Years Eve. Service was still good.

   Both the meatballs and prime rib were over cooked, no pink. I was told "we only cook to medium". Okay, take medium and put it under a heat lamp gets you .well done". Peeling my own shrimp is not only inconvenient, but requires a trip to the rest room to wash up again. Is it asking too much for identifying signs to say what is in the warmer so one does not have to open to see and allowing heat to escape. And, it would be nice to know what the mystery items were. All in all, not what I expected for the price.

   Service was incredibly slow. The LED lights made you feel like you were sitting in a gymnasium. Not sure what has happened, but it has gone downhill from when I was there last. Food wasn’t bad, but was over shadowed by slow service and cold ambiance.

    I've been to Granite City many times. It was a late lunch so any normal sound level present earlier had abated. Burger was very good and my service was honestly outstanding. I have celiac disease and my server (bartender served, we sat in bar so had large table to spread out business-related documents) was outstanding in her care for my problem.

    My daughter has to follow a gluten free diet. The people in the kitchen tried to be helpful but didn't seem to know what was gluten free on the buffet. We were told repeatedly the biscuits were gluten free. it didn't make sense so we didn't risk it. She ordered gluten free off the menu and didn't care for the flatbread at all. i tried the donut station twice with my grandaughter. The 2 remaining donuts were hard and covered with drips from previous guests. The cotton candy looked unappealing and we had no idea how it worked. We were there at 11am. It may be better to come later so you aren't finding as many empty pots. The best part was our smiling waitress.

    Stopped here while traveling so we were not regular diners there. The service was very good and what we expected for that type of restaurant, casual Brewery. We had the chicken tacos and they were barely edible. They were supposed to have a number of ingredients. The chicken was shredded and had little if any flavor and was very dry. Almost seemed as left over from other chicken dishes and chopped up to put in the tacos. The cheese was non-existent and the creme sauce had been applied in a few drops. The soft shell tortilla itself was flaky and barely held together so eating the taco was difficult. The chicken winks with just the dry rub were good but nothing outstanding. I imagine if you are going for food, maybe avaoit a place with emphasis on the beer.

    I wouldn’t ever say not to go somewhere because everyone’s tastes are different. But, I wasn’t a big fan at all. Nor was the boyfriend. Our server was amazing though !

    My brother and his wife were visiting from CT. Mom had taken them to Granite City for lunch the day they arrived. They were so impressed with the food, beverages and service they wanted to have dinner at GC before they returned home. It was a family dinner and the 5 of us enjoyed ourselves and the food.

    We went for a great niece 22nd birthday who is moderately mentally chanllengedd. She wanted a buffet and they were from out of town. Was told by someone else of you place. and everyone was very happy. We were seated immedatley upon arrival. Next time I will look around before beginning to fill my plate. So many options. Will be back.

    The waitress was great, kept checking in but did not rush us. We were the last one in the restaurant side that night and no one rush us out. That was special because of the happenings of that day we were each in our own place trying to digest the day.

    We go to this restaurant at least once a month. They had a large party and were not staffed for it. Took 10-15 min to get drinks. Food was good but the temperature was not hot.

    Unlimited mimosas are a great value-they bring you the bottle and 3 types of juice. The omelette station and prime rib was fantastic, produce was fresh. The hot dishes were not very impressive. Kraft Mac and cheese tastes better than the Mac and cheese I had unfortunately.

    Horrible service but good food The food is very good but we waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table only after I went to ask if we could get water and someone to take care of us. The rest of the meal did not go any better. At least 3 of the employees seemed loopy or completely out of it.

    Had reservations for father's day. They allowed way too many walk ins and those with reservations had a substantial wait; as if we had not made reservations. Extremely rushed, crowded; food shortage; poor display; variety scarce. Next year we are heading back over to Ameristar. Thought we'd change up this year; bad decision.

    I had a reservation for 1:00 PM through Open Table.I checked in at 12:50 and was given a beeper.I was told they were cleaning tables and they will call me in a few minutes. While we were waiting for a table my husband and I went to the bar to order a beer. When the female bartender brought our beers to us I was getting out the money to pay her so I said “can you give it to my son to hold” with a snappy tone she said “I’m not just going to hand him a beer without carding him”. It’s her job, but she was RUDE .25 minutes later I went to the counter and asked about our table. I was told by the hostess that my reservation had been canceled. I told her that is not so; I have the beeper in my hand.I spoke with a manager who seated me right away. I have found that sometimes the host or hostess at a restaurant will not check me in through the OpenTable. Last night Open Table thought I was a no show. I e mailed OpenTable to inform them that I honored my reservation and I have a receipt to prove it. We, as paying customers,are asked to honor our reservations. Restaurants who participate in an Open Table should know how to use the system. We were at the restaurant for a Father’s Day buffet. The waitress was exceptional, but lots of times the buffet had empty pans. I understand when you have large crowds things will run out; but many people asked about biscuits, bacon and others foods because the pans were empty for a long time. Prime rib was included in the buffet, but the two times I went to the carving station they did not have medium rare prime rib. Medium rare prime rib is a pretty normal way to serve it.The waitresses had to run back-and-forth to fill water glasses because they couldn’t leave a pitcher on the table because they were not enough of them.I have enjoyed the food that at this restaurant in the past,but I do believe that if they are going to serve a buffet they need to prepare better.

    Well first of all I had an resevation for 12:15 the place was a zoo. We were not seating until 1240 after i said i would not be tipping anyone today. Then I seated right away. I came to Granite city two years ago and the service was excellent great food. But this year was a total disappointment. When you have a reservation you should not have to wait to be seated, It a good thing I didn't brng my mother. But there was a gentleman there who had his father with no reservations, his father was 80ish and could not stand, he hollered over other people who where in line before him and he was seated before me.

    Made reservations 5 days out for Sunday brunch buffet...arrived on time, but still waited 45 minutes for a table...when seated, ordered drinks and one member did not ever receive his beverage until done eating and was ready to leave....25.99 seemed too high for the buffet....food was not of the highest quality, I know they were cooking for an increased number of people, but the quality was not up to par for their prices....will not go back for the buffet again....can’t speak for their regular menu, it may be very good, but will probably not go back to find out...too many other good places to try....

    Waiter did not check on the table more than once while we are there. A member of our party stood up and followed another waiter trying to get a refill of coffee. Prime rib was cold both times the table went through the buffet line. In fact most food that should have been warm/hot was room temperature at best. Several items were out each time we went through the line. Yes it was busy for the Father's Day brunch. But we were their early before it became super crowded. Over all the father of the group was pleased so that is truly what matters. But can't say I will be rushing back for the buffet any time soon. Which is disappointing cause I've always found the food and service to be very good when visiting Granite City in the past.
