   Server was attentive, view lovely. The hot appetizers were delivered quickly however, very small portion of octopus. The cheese selection tower was delicious when it arrived , which was, unfortunately. over an hour after we ordered it (too slow!).

   Sit at the bar and you get to talk to the chef and ask questions about the food, what is she making, etc.. Dana recommends wine based on your preferences and gives you a small taste before you decide.

   Very intimate area within Fairmont Banff Springs. Gorgeous room in old part of hotel. Great wine and charcuterie!! Server was exceptional. Highly recommend!

    As always the service was phenomenal and attentive. We are long time locals have a been coming to Grapes for a decade. This time however, my wife got violently sick while at the restaurant and I got sick overnight and the next day. Not sure if there may have been issues with the curing of some meats etc… nevertheless that certainly does not give us any desire to come back any time soon. The fact that a chef used to be right there preparing the food was also much better than the food coming from a kitchen somewhere else in the hotel.

    Lovely setting and delicious food. Charcuterie was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful display and a varied selection that offered something for everyone. Enjoyed some good wine with it.     After a day of traveling, we enjoyed my birthday dinner at Grapes. It is a small restaurant, so make sure you make reservations. The food was limited and pricey, but what isn't anymore? We had the charcuterie tower and everything on it was tasty. The best part was Dana, our server. She was so pleasant to talk to and gave us lots of tips for explorations around Banff.

    So glad Grapes is open again. Although new temporary menu was good we very much would have preferred that the charcuterie and fondue would have been available, especially the fondue. We look forward to returning this summer!

    I prefer the way Grapes was before. I do not like the set 4 course meal. There’s no way I can eat $85 worth of food even if it is amazing. I prefer to select my own cheeses and I miss the fondue. Huge disappointment. Service was awesome! Food tasted great! Definitely preferred the old style of Grapes!

    Fantastic gem in the Banff Springs. Charcuterie elevated. Unique meats, perfectly paired cheeses, chutneys and pickled vegetables, fresh baked assorted breads and always topped with grapes.
