    Went on Saturday night. Service was incredible, staff was friendly, food was fantastic and prices were affordable. Wonderful place to eat and hope to be going again soon!

    Please avoid this restaurant! Poor quality food relative to price. Dessert spoon has hidden sharp crack which scratched and injured my mouth. One of the waiters was very rude and yelled at our 2 year old kid for making noise at the table. If kids are not welcomed in a restaurant, they should have made it clear.

    This is a a restaurant to remember. The seafood linguini was superb as was the lamb. The ambiance, menu and friendly service are all as excellent as I recall rom 5 years ago.

    This is my favourite restaurant ! Came back for my birthday and the food was made before I even got there. They were close to closing and still accommodated. Thank you Grappa ❤️

    Food was excellent. I had sea bass perfectly done with very tasty side dishes. Cream brûlée very light, not too sweet. Very good desert.

    Wonderful experience at Grappa celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were warmly greeted and cared for throughout the meal. Cocktails were icy cold and and the food was hot and delicious. My husband’s seafood pasta and my sea bass were both excellent. Thank you Chef. It was very kind of the Host to acknowledge my husband’s birthday with a complimentary dessert complete with an amazing sparkler! We’ve eaten at Grappa a number of times in the past and have always been pleased. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Loved the food, had the ribs as an appetizer and the steak and salad as my meal and left nothing on the plate. Only thing I didn’t like was the crème brûlée, I think it has strawberries in it, rather than a regular vanilla crème brûlée.

    Grappa restaurant is absolutely amazing! It was our first time there and the service was super. Super amazing the food amazing the ambiance loved it. The owner was absolutely fantastic very personable and very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

    The chicken and shrimp in the fettuccine creole was firm and dry. Once our order was placed, the service was slow. One of our servers was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, which seems inappropriate for the level of this restaurant. There was only 1 working washroom.

    A good atmosphere however a little dark for my elderly parents but good for a romantic night out. Service was excellent and gave a feeling of being at a big family dinner. The staff made you feel like you were just part of the family coming over for dinner. The food was good and everything was fresh. It owas nice to see carrot cake on the desert menu which is uncommon but worth the extra indulgence. The sorbet was fresh and out of this world. The only negative thing I have to say and it is not within the control of the restauraunt is parking. There is not sufficient parking without a walk which was challenging for us having elderly parents who require assistive devices to walk. There are green p spots but it would appear the people in the area do not know how to park since most vehicles where parked in two or more spots leaving me to find a side street 3 blocks away after dropping my parents off in the Gass station parking lot next door which was the closest I could get. All in all a good experience and I can see this restauraunt being very popular in the years to come if they maintain their fresh cooked food attitude.

    My husband and I went here for part of a birthday celebration. The service was great the food was amazing. Previous reviews had mentioned the noise level, however we went for an early dinner at 6.30 pm so the noise level was quiet it did increase when we were leaving at around 8.30pm . We will most certainly return to this restaurant.

    Exceptional food and service. The octopus is perfectly braised, grilled , and finished. The lamb rack and sea bass were cooked spot on, with the latter having a really nice Parmesan crust. The gnocchi are tasty, a bit big, and the bolognese sauce is really flavourful and meaty. Downtown prices so -1 star for value, but I plan on going again. Definitely the nicest and highest quality Italian restaurant in the west end that I’ve found so far.

    Food was great especially the truffle fries. One steak was too fatty. Noise level was way too loud from the music then as the night went in the patrons got loud. Had to skip dessert due to noise. Service was very nice.

    From the receptionist/ bartender who greeted us to the order taking and servers, the service was top notch. A little pricey for what’s on offer and limited menu choices, but the food itself was very good. Ambience was very nice.

    My friend and I both didn’t like our food. It was very greasy and heavy. Very expensive for no reason. Loud speakers over each table with terrible music. Poor decor, and waiters dress in jeans and sport shoes. The wine by the glass menu is very limited with low quality wines for a fine wine cost. They lie about special food accommodations that I cannot write about here, due to Open Table community guidelines. I don't recommend this restaurant.

    Look no further. They may not have the purse benches that via Allegro has, but via Allegro doesn’t have this food, nor the genuine level of service. There’s no faking it at Grappa. There’s no substitution for DELICIOUS!!!!! Every single bite is more delectable than the last. Nothing cheap at this place. Every choice is the great choice right to the very end. Tiramisu to rival any from Italy and other restaurants take note: Grappa uses mascarpone not fluff!!! What some other places use is a travesty! Make your reservation for Grappa before the year’s end so you know where to return to in 2023 and years to come!!! Eat, drink well and be merry!!!

    The food is lovely but the prices are outrageous. $57 for lamb chops, no wine less than $90 bottle. I would rather go to a lovely venue like Vial Allegro for those prices, not a simple little bistro on Queensway.
