Inspired by the New York gastropub scene, the menus feature a range of classics executed on a higher level than traditional pub food. We chose the name Graze because grass-fed animals and rotational grazing are important to us. Also, we want the menu to inspire our guests to do just that: graze. There’ll always be a variety of dishes and small plates to choose from – the kind of stuff chefs and foodies love to eat.

*Dining at a Deja Food Restaurant will include a 20% service charge. This enables us to continue to operate and allows us to guarantee a fair wage to all of our employees – both front and back of house

Good food. Nor very wide selection. Dinner entrees boil down only to two things with one of which being a smash burger. Undercut my expectations to be honest. Good food don’t get me wrong but given the prices and it’s ambiance, I expected finer. Probably a place for a reasonably wealthy college student to splurge on but not a place I’d take my parents (again).

The meal was excellent. Good service and it didn’t take very long to come. It was a cold night in October and we were the only ones there at 5:00pm. My only negative comment is, we had a 5:00 pm reservation and got there 15-20 minutes before 5:00. If you are going to accept reservations for 5:00, you should have your doors open in advance of that time. It might be ok when the weather is warm, but it’s not very comfortable waiting in the cold

Server mixed up the food on delivery as well as the drinks and we were only a table of 3 at a very very slow time. Smash burger was so overly cooked it was crispy and frankly too greasy to eat. This burger and a small salad for $20 (burger was maybev1/4 at most) which included gratuity not with it at all. Cheese curds were very good though. The farm to table theme is also very appealing.

Idk what happened to Graze’s old menu, but this new fusion just isn’t jiving with the overall theme of the restaurant. The chicken and waffles were so good! I drove 7 hours just to revisit Graze and was disappointed. Prices are fair but the food was subpar.

Sitting on an air conditioner vent was not making the experience the best it could have been. As for service a table sat after us with the same server was greeted and given their drinks prior to us.

The complete dining experience at Graze was fabulous. Food, service and atmosphere definitely met our expectations and more. Our only side note would be to inform the customer of the already included 20% gratuity when presenting the bill as that is not a common practice on tables less than 6 people.

The sweet potato and Mexican street corn appetizers are amazing as was the Blackbeard drink—bacon-infused rye whiskey. Our server had a great sense of humor, made terrific suggestions, and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. We’ll defend nicely be back!!

COVID19 precautions felt safe. When my husband ordered a beer that our server thought he might not like, she offered to let him try it first. Sure enough, he didn't like it. However, she brought a taste of another one she thought he'd like better, and nailed it! Excellent service from start to finish.

Our server,Ben,was wonderful. He put us at ease by wearing his mask properly and keeping it on at all times. We had a great dinner outside on the patio and enjoyed our very first restaurant experience since the start of COVID. Thank you. We love coming to your restaurant each time we come to Madison. Having been before we visited for brunch last weekend and it was awful. Food was sub-par and served luke warm, service was really slow, we sat outside on the patio and had bees swarming...one staffer said “you think those are bad you should have seen the spiders last week”, and it was not an inexpensive experience. Lots of other better options downtown!
