Excellent place to gather with family and friends!!
Terrible. Service took forever. The noise level is deafening. No chance to have a conversation while other diners think it’s appropriate to shout at each other. Happy to never return.
Dinner was delicious. Service by Cecelia was outstanding. Many thanks to her.
When we arrived, they seated us right by the door. We had no room to move. The host did give us a better table once there was an opening. But the second table was also along the front wall, which is very cold. My friend ordered the tacos and I had a burger. Both came with potato chips, which are not something that I typically eat. The service was slow. The server forgot to come over after we moved tables. The reason I chose the restaurant, is I was looking for live music. Unfortunately they didn't have any music. My friend had a martini, which she enjoyed. I am a wine drinker, and was not overly impressed by the by the glass selections. Overall, I was not impressed by the Greenhouse.
Seated quickly, but no wait staff for 10 minutes and only after i had to track someone down. Food took longer than normal to come out. It was very cold and we were seated under a fan. Asked staff to have the fan turned off, but never happened. Ate with coats on. Food itself was just ok.
Excellent food , vibe and service . Upstairs dining was nice , not rushed .
The cornflake encrusted French Toast is wonderful!
Service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive server
Very disappointed in this establishment. Indoor dining no social distancing, no masks by staff or guests. We had table out back under tent, fire pits and heaters whereby working and when they didn’t last long. Service was just horrible every interaction resulted in 15-20 mins before we saw attendant again. Food was mediocre at best and cold by the time we got served. I would highly recommend looking into other options for dunning in New Hop. Side not Parking is outrageous, nothing near the restaurant and since it took so long for us to get served we ended up being there 3+ hours parking cost as much as the meal. Be prepared
We should have sat outside with fire pit. Inside was cold with door open. Apps were good.
Great vibes! Ran out of soup but at 2 pm on the perfect fall day isn’t surprising. Windows out front give you an outdoor feel with the warmth of inside. Definitely a wave.
We were disappointed in the restaurant and won’t go back. The ‘greenhouse’ vibe is non existent. Very disappointed when our waitress told us to ‘check the website’ for their wine list. The food was good-but did NOT match the ambiance or energy in the restaurant.
Dissappointed. Granted they were busy but....Food was cold. They forgot one persons plate. We were done dinner by the time they told us it would be 5 minutes more before it came out.
They were gracious enough to give us free dessert but ultimately our dining experience was ruined.
The food was really good and Jordan our server offered excellent service!
Delicious Pulpo appetizer. Delicious Venison Chop entree' .
Very poorly run restaurant. The employees had plenty of excuses and complaints to justify the terrible service. We understand places are short staffed and are patient, but the employees are unhappy and it shows. We left after appetizers paying an included 18% gratuity for sub par service and walked across the street to Nektar where we had delicious food and excellent service.
The food and ambiance was outstanding. Beautiful place to eat and enjoy a date night!
Good food and drinks 🍸 are to be found at this nice New Hope staple. Brothers Josh and Michael do a good job here. Delicious 😋 Pulpo appetizer, and succulent Venison Chops, amongst other nice specialties, are for dinner !
It is definitely a 'local' place to visit and lives up to it, to a great degree. Food delivery was rushed and overall, good.
Bartenders are great. Always a great drink and entertaining conversations. Food pretty good too
Been to Green house several times now. I’ve always enjoyed the food and cocktails. Service always impeccable as well. Decided to bring my friends with Rupen before. Was very excited. Ordered appetizers and cocktails.
Loved sitting outside with hibachi fire( on table ) on a cool night with friends. Great ambience and service.
Try the, “Hands off my fries!” A little pricey, but one of the best meals out I’ve had in awhile. Drinks were well mixed too!
Cool place but very loud, we were seated by the bar. Our server forgot to put in our order so waited over an hour for apps. Manager apologized and comped some drinks, mistakes happen. Food was good, will try again
Uninspiring menu selection. Food was so so. Lettuce in salad was old and wilted. Thick bacon was fine but no flavor. Setting was a bit crowded. Old fashioned was terrible. Overall there are much better places in New Hope.
Menu was not large, but portions were. Enough for dinner and a large lunch the next day. Food was excellent as was service.
Dirty bathrooms, dirty windows, very very slow service, drink order forgotten, originally seated under stairs (even with reservation), food was ok. Loved that they had vegan options.
The food was awful. We ordered the kids grilled cheese, the sesame noodles, butternut squash soup, chicken tikka masala dip, and arugula salad. The grilled cheese was rubbery. The sesame noodles were flavorless, the soup was way too sweet, the dip tasted like curry tomatoes, and the salad was fine but the mangos were hard as rocks. And this meal cost or over $80 with tip. The front of the restaurant is beautiful but we were seated outside in the back which had no ambience, just a tent in a parking lot.
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice New Hope staple. Among their other fine specialties, we dined on their delicious 😋 Grilled Octopus, and Rack Of Venison ! The Greenhouse is open late, and that is good .
The service was great, but the food was almost always a little overcooked. The maple glazed chicken and the venison chops were hard n the outside and not very juicy on the inside. I needed to ask for more gravy to maintain the moisture. The bacon appetizer was overcooked and also chewy.
Always great food but it definitely gets a little too loud inside. Everything I’ve eaten was delicious but it would be nice if the waiter gave time to eat appetizers before overfilling my small table with my meal 3 mins after I get the appetizers. We need a few mins to eat the first course. They literally give us less than 4 mins to eat apps and then we had to pile plates on plates with our main course and apps and the tables are small.
Good 👍 food and drinks are to be found at this nice New Hope staple. Among their other House Specialties, their Grilled Octopus 🐙and succulent Rack Of Venison. The best part is that The Greenhouse is open late .
Had a nice meal with family, our server was very friendly. The chicken from the cold noodle salad was over cooked and the squid in the salad we were told was grilled but was deep fried and very dry.
Great place for a drink and small plates
The food was good. I wasn’t blown away by the taste. The value for taste was great though.
Nice bar and restaurant in downtown New Hope with American dishes and some Asian flair. Also has vegan meat options using seitan for those who desire that option.
Amazing food and drinks. Air was a little high. We never got out waters till after we ate, but it was good. The crowd after 8pm got a little rowdy and it echos, but who can control that. I’ll definitely aim to eat outside next time is all.
Went for brunch, food was good but we waited 25mins before anyone took our food and drink order.
Overall a disappointing dining experience. From a service standpoint, the hostess was on her phone when we got there and we had to tell her our names a few times before she found our reservation. She showed us to our table and brought menus when we asked for a wine list she said just to go to the website. When the waiter came he was nice but rushed. We asked about the wine on the website and found out the website was out of date so we ordered a different bottle, which was fine. We had a selection of small plates and entrees and all the food was just ok , the best item was the fries. The waiter checked in regularly to ensure we were ok but it was clear he was quite busy. When we left we realized that he was operating as the bartender and a server which likely explains why he was so rushed. The restaurant was very noisy. I will not return.
Papa Burger and Smoked Cauliflower were a great combination.
