   Service was extremely slow and food as underseasoned/overcooked. Arrived at 7:40 and got our food around 9:10. Was probably not worth it.

It would give me a better idea of the table number, timing of when your food was ordered & the time that it reached the table & what food went out overcooked/under seasoned.    Excellent Classic French food, good Ambiance and music. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The bartender was great! Food did not disappoint, I gave three stars for value but only because food prices are ridiculous and I can’t believe how much more everything costs not because the restaurant is overpriced.

    My friend and I had a lovely dinner at Greta Solomon’s. The cheese recommendations were perfect for what we were looking for and we both enjoyed our main (trout and streak). Special mention to the “frites” that came with the steak… so delicious!

    Beautiful little spot, with phenomenal food, small menu it it really means that they prepare each dish with almost perfection. Portions were bigger than we expected which is a GOOD thing. We will definitely be back

    I had been to Greta‘s 3 times before, took a friend for her birthday, she hadn’t been. I got the table right next to the door, seems like they always put me there. Very tight space. We shared the escargot, liver, pate, scallops as appetizers, and had duck and trout for mains. Food is good. Too full to have dessert. Gary was a very professional and attentive server, but started to lack once the second seating started filling up. We waited 30 mins to have our main plates removed and then another 30 mins before I got up to stand by the bar to ask for our bill. Overall good experience. Lovely cocktails, and very good wine selection. Noise level got louder as the night went on.

    My friend had the duck which she raves about. I had the trout which was ok. The wine and cheese were amazing. The bathroom is laterally one of the nicest I have ever been too (I know that’s a strange thing to say but it’s true). Quaint and cute atmosphere. The server was amazing.

    Service was excellent- fine dining level of service. Food was good, but we didn’t enjoy all the dishes. Would order pate, asparagus and steak frites again. Didn’t enjoy the escargot or beef bourguignon.

    Very enjoyable food, superb cheese and wine selection. Will go again. Sitting near the door and trying to get our server’s attention with their seating changeover was a sour end to an otherwise great experience. It’s a small venue, so few servers and I don’t think this issue is avoidable. Consider necessitating that you sit away from the door if the winter breeze would be an issue for you - it was for us. This would not stop us from coming back, but more likely making that request.

    A gem of a restaurant- 26 seats, cosy and warm ambiance. The new chef has taken what was already a lovely menu and elevated it in presentation and some new delicious dishes. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and on top of it all, juggling all with ease. Excellent wine list , mostly French as it should be in a French bistro . We had two entrees and two main dishes and felt we could have split an entree so we would have had more room for dessert or a selection from their terrific cheese list. Not to be missed- the chicken liver mousse is divine ( and rich). My magret du canard was cooked to perfection, and came with the best Swiss chard I’ve ever had and a delicious purée and Francesca sauce. My husband had the boeuf bourguignon and raves about it- so good that I couldn’t get a bite. Well worth visiting !

    This is my third time at Greta’s, and as usual everything was fantastic. The servers have fantastic recommendations for both food and wine, making the experience just that much better. Highlights were the mushroom and carpaccio starters and the mackerel main. Great meal, great service and an overall excellent night. Looking forward to visit #4!

    Last night three of us had dinner at Greta Solomon Pretty restaurant and first time there What an experience Started with our reservation was at 6:00 One of my guests, birthday boy was 10 minutes early, went to go inside and they asked him to wait outside because they weren’t ready IN THE POURING RAIN?🤷🏻‍♀️ Gets better Our waitress then served us Very pleasant, ordered our wine then our appetizers (average) But that’s ok, we were cozy and having good conversation and waited and waited to order our mains(now the restaurant is busy) Finally order the mains but with a different waiter and no explanation or introduction Again the main courses were average But again because of celebrating a birthday we ordered another bottle (wine was excellent) No one asked how is everything? Would you like more water? Nothing🤷🏻‍♀️ Then waiting and waiting and when I booked in open table I clicked that it was a birthday The sad part is this! When they brought the bill, they brought a empty plate with a candle on it lit! No cookie,no candy , no sprinkle of anything! A very sad sad look on my friend who’s birthday it was Pathetic! One of my guests went to the first waitress standing behind the bar who was chatting all night with 2 patrons explained after it was brought to her attention of what a sad state to give just a candle on a complete plate is totally unexceptable It would of been better if they brought nothing! The waitress said they don’t do that anymore😞 I live going to restaurants and I always leave at minimum 20% TIP ?? To Insure Promptness?? Absolutely Not! So Embarrassed for my friends and I waited the next day to write this Will not return!
