This is the best restaurant, making the most innovative and flavorful dishes in Toronto! Every item on the menu is a winner, one dish after another getting better and better. The service is remarkable with the most gregarious wait staff who know the extensive and unique wine list inside and out. Cannot wait to go back!

Amazing dinner last night. Best meal I’ve had in Toronto.. The staff and space were both 10/10. Thanks to my buddy Kev for the recommendation and we’ll be having dinner here every time we visit TO!

I had a very nice dinner here. The pickerel was perfectly cooked and served with an excellent cream. I had my dinner outside, so the place was comfortable. Service was correct.

What a gem of a neighborhood place to really enjoy great food executed with precision and thoughtfulness…there menu is small but designed for maximum sharing or not. Also they do half orders for those who enjoy sitting at the bar watching the action! Don’t pass this one up it’s worth every penny, also a Michelin Star but that’s my humble opinion and also if they got one good luck reserving a table and that’s the charm of Grey Gardens it accessibility.

I love places with small plates because I love being able to try different things on the menu, so absolutely loved the experience at Grey Gardens. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. I really had a good time. The Crown past with the polenta was one of the best things I've tried!

This is my third visit, but only the first since the pandemic, and I’m glad to see the quality remain or even improve. Wonderful experience overall. Was seated at the bar, which was nonetheless very comfortable, and had wonderful service. The food was outstanding (some dishes are stronger than others but that’s to be expected). Drinks are refreshing, and I can’t recommend their peach ice cream enough, nor find the words to fully do it justice. I look forward to visiting again!

Somehow the team at Grey Gardens have ensured that the food quality and experience have not fallen off across years (and a pandemic.) Really impressive, especially in Toronto. We’ll be back.

Overall, it was an amazing night at Grey Gardens with great ambience, atmosphere, and service however when it comes to value for money I think the restaurant can do better. The servings seem way too little for the price and overall taste can be better. The food menu is quite small which leaves you with very limited options to craft your meal for the night. Food we ordered are smoked fish and chips, scallops, gnudi and kampachi which have good flavours but not entirely exciting to the palate - either too tangy or too salty! I was looking for something more complex that what the restaurant offered.

It was a tremendous relief to see/smell the cooking of the fresh herbed dish in the oven at the bar; thrilling to taste most of the elements of each of the dishes we sampled, tasty aperitif. I think $200.00plus was too much to spend on a meal comprised of fresh vegetables (I buy these ingredients every day; I know what they cost), and small portions of seafood (delicious but barely one whole scallop in the dish...). A large piece of white chicken meat, the least tasty of all meats! Still I would rather eat this well developed menu than a big steak or even a "whole" grilled fish, so I am prepared to pay extra for less food. But you asked me what I thought. Would I send my friends here? Yes.

Great food. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. Ambiance was beautiful and simple. A bit noisy but after 10 it quieted down. Definitely recommend.

Service, food and ambiance are amazing. On a summer Saturday it is busy so it's warm and loud. Try it late and during the week if you want less energy. I love it here!

Early dinner sitting at the bar before a show at the El Mocambo. A Fun spot to sit as you get to watch all the action happening! The Food and service were amazing. The prices are quite high for the sharing plates but otherwise a very enjoyable evening. We highly recommend and will definitely go back.

We had a great dinner and wonderful interactions with the entire team. We were seated at the bar, which is a treat in a restaurant when the chefs truly work as a team and respect each other. The vibe was excellent. The only irritant was the “loud talker” next to us, but that’s nothing the restaurant could influence. Highly recommend GG, the quality exceeds the price IMHO.

Fantastic and creative food. Attentive service and good advice on portions. Drink pairing was spot on including some fun off-menu options for our teenagers. Carefully curated wine list was very sensitive to the food. Coming again for certain ! Thanks so much

Great food and service as we have all come to love and expect from Jen Agg. Extensive drink menu (and good value). Lively for a Tuesday evening but never felt rushed. Great spot for a date or good catch-up with a good friend. Music was on point. The smoked fish dip is a must.
