    We always enjoy doing tasting menus for special nights like New Year’s Eve and Valantine’s and want to put them on more often, so we came up with ‘Grey Mondays’. Always the last Monday of each month and always a great time. The menu is a shared 6-course set menu for $95 per person +tax and gratuity. You can expect a snack, crudo, vegetable, carb, protein, and dessert course. Thoughtful wine pairings will of course be available. Can’t wait to see you! Please leave us a note if you'd like a vegetarian or pescatarian menu or have any dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, vegan menus will not be available.

  • Génot-Boulanger Winemaker Dinner

    On Wednesday, October 23rd, we’ll be joined in our wine cellar for a special 4-course dinner with 4th generation winemaker Guillaume Lavollée from the iconic estate Génot-Boulanger. Based in Meursault and family-owned, Génot-Boulanger has 22 hectares of vineyards and produces from a remarkable 30 different appellations. The $330/pp (+tax and gratuity) ticket price includes 8 wines from the estate to be paired up with three savoury courses, followed by a cheese course for dessert. Please let us know in the comments if you have any dietary restrictions.

    The first thing you notice about the food is that it is delicious. Then you notice that it is wonderfully fresh - the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were perfect. Then you notice that it is unusual enough to be interesting but not weird. The service was wonderfully attentive but never intrusive. Absolutely excellent restaurant in all respects.

    Every visit to Grey Gardens is a triumph and this past Grey Monday was no exception. I have become a bit of a Grey Monday regular and bring different friends with me each time. They are always delighted and come away eager to return for the next Grey Monday on the books. I am always so grateful to the Grey Gardens team for finding ways to accommodate pesky allergies, and bring an air of ruthless professionalism combined with warmth, kindness, and a dry sense of humour. Honestly, every restaurant should be like GG. The food was delicious and interesting, with wonderful surprises along the way - the crab pasta with the most incredible bread was the unanimous winner at our table, with the maitake mushrooms and the cacio e pepe crowns a very close second. Thank you for a wonderful night as always GG team, can't wait to come back again!

    Tartare was amazing, cocktails were lovely as well a very lovely atmosphere especially considering where it’s located a hidden gem of Kensington.
