    We had such great flavours but the most outstanding dish was the celery root. It was so amazing. Imagine su vid celery root, still a bit of crisp with radicchio in a buttermilk truffle dressing spread on top, topped with crispy thin crouton. Bam! This was outstanding. Also had the swordfish crudo, the tagliatelle, the skate and the apple galette. Our server was also amazing and sitting at the counter we ended up speaking with a lovely couple beside us, who actually work at a sister restaurant and they let us taste the cauliflower. Can’t go wrong with any of the dishes! Just wish we could have also had the smoked fish with chips! That is so good….next time. Lol

    My sister and I really enjoyed our meals It was her first time. We will definitely come back in the future. The dishes were amazing! Loved the atmosphere. the staff were kind and attentive. 5 stars

    I brought my 97 year old grandmother, who was a bit out of place in the young crowd, but loved the food and was thrilled with the service. She uses a walker and the staff assisted her to and from our table efficiently, politely, and unobtrusively. They went above and beyond to give her a memorable evening. Fantastic service.

    Fantastic locally-focused menu based on fresh and high-quality produce with fantastic saucing. Perfectly balanced flavours, incredibly fresh ingredients, and really kind, welcoming, friendly service. Definitely one of the best places in the city, exceeding its already high expectations.

    Great as usual - the food was excellent, and the ambience is basically the best in the city. Lovely candlelight, great music (hits from the 70’s and 80’s last night!) and wonderful company made it a great evening.

    Vibe and overall experience was good! The service and staff was excellent. The chicken main and scallop starter was amazing, sides and smaller plates were ok. I would like to try the other options on the menu.

    Sat at the bar. Loved the ambience, food, wine. Worth it for a special occasion, loved the bread and we're not even bread people! Excellent music too. Recommend.

    The chip and dip was amazing. Wine selection was extensive but most cost $100+. The leeks were out of this world! But honestly the highlight of the night was the mushroom pasta dish. Forgot what it was called but quite literally the most incredible two (giant) bites of food I've ever had when it comes to pasta in a restaurant (it's tapas so we shared it). My partner joked that next time we should come in and order 3 of those and just eat them instead. The steak was good but maybe not worth the price compared to the rest of the dishes. The atmosphere was incredible. Very loud but somehow still romantic. Great spot for a date! The whole place seemed like a well-oiled machine. Everyone seemed to be in sync and genuinely polite, attentive and happy to be there.

    This is the best restaurant, making the most innovative and flavorful dishes in Toronto! Every item on the menu is a winner, one dish after another getting better and better. The service is remarkable with the most gregarious wait staff who know the extensive and unique wine list inside and out. Cannot wait to go back!
