We will start the evening with a Cream of Sunchoke with Black Truffle soup and a Roasted Pear & Butternut Squash Salad. For a starter, choose between the Seafood Terrine Napoline with Ossetra Caviar, Beef Tartar with Quail Eggs, or the Morrel Chanterelle Vol Au Vent. For your main course, choose between the Pan Seared Filet of Dover Sole Almondine, the Beef Wellington, the G21 Seafood Cioppino, or the Roast Duck Breast. Finish the night with a sweet delight of our dessert trio, a Mini Chocolate cup with Chocolate Mousse & Mixed Berries, Orange Creme Brule, and the Lemon Meringue Tart.

Located in the La Salle, a small and elegant dining room. Wonderful experience, delicious food. Connects to the JW Marriott through the doors in the ground floor. No need to brave the elements.

Nicely varied brunch menu, with standard and more unusual options. There were only a few diners, so it was quiet and conducive to conversation. Our server was relatively new and had to be reminded of some things, but she and the host were pleasant and accommodating. Beautiful decor and ambiance. We would certainly return here for brunch.

This is a beautiful and ambient dining spot. The service was impeccable. The roasted cauliflower was so savory and satisfying. Lobster bisque and salmon did not disappoint. If you are a portion size diner you will be satisfied. I can’t wait to return.

Dined at Grille on 21 while staying at the LaSalle Chicago. An absolutely perfect meal from start to finish. The wedge salad chopped to the cooked perfectly filet complimented by the delicious Mac n cheese and potatoes purée was everything I had hoped for. The waiter went above and beyond with genuine conversation and even a cocktail compliments of him. I will be back to the beautiful LaSalle and Grill on 21, without a doubt!

The salmon is consistently outstanding - perfectly prepared! Our service was a bit disjointed as the server was new. We’ve dined here many times and this was the first time the service was just okay.

Wonderful meal and service. It's one to definitely book if you are in the area. From the gentleman in the lobby that showed us to the elevator to our leaving the building nothing was bad. Lobster thermidor and Waygu were both nicely presented and are recommended.

My daughter and I had dinner at Grill on 21 on September 8th. We absolutely loved our dining experience. The decor was elegant and in keeping with the original design of the building. There was live music (piano and singing) playing in the background. The wait staff was very attentive and the chef even checked in on us a few times. We enjoyed the Shellfish Cocktail, Burrata, Steak Frites (the park was an truffle fries were delicious) and the Westholme Wagyu Coulotte with mushrooms and micro greens. Everything was perfect. The cocktail menu was very interesting, we tried several and would love to go back and try more. Overall 10/10 for us.

Fantastic little restaurant, but the dining room itself is tiny. The bar and lounge - which serves as the lobby for the LaSalle Hotel, too (interesting, since on the 21st floor), was really cool. Service was great and the food was wonderful. Great bourbon selection and the bartender made one (OK, maybe three) of the best Old Fashioneds that I've had. Highly recommend.

Grill on 21 thoroughly exceeded my expectations. The hotel area the restaurant was nested inside of was beautiful and had classy live music playing at a suitable volume. The food was reasonably priced for the quality, the drinks were superbly mixed/fairly unique and the wait staff was personable/attentive.

Exceptionally beautiful & sophisticated space. Absolutely a hidden gem. Their wine list offers a variety of well-priced wines as well as some higher end treats. Very pleasant setting with dim ambient lighting made it a very cozy and comfortable dinner. Salmon salad was incredible. A bit disappointed in my Kansas City T-bone. A bit chewy and lackluster flavor for 60$.

The dinner was great. Reasonable valet parking. The best thing though, was the music after dinner, provided by Edgar Gabriel and Fred Simon. Even though there was a wedding reception going on nearby, we spent a very enjoyable evening listening to them. Would come back to hear them again and eat dinner at the bar!
