    We had already popped in once to have drinks on the patio but I had not been there for food. So we planned a date night to eat. We both had the steak and it was so delicious. The chimichurry was the perfect balance of garlic, salt and herb. And of course the drinks were amazing as always. Can’t wait to come back.

    The margaritas were not a hit as they had very little flavour, so I'd pass on those. But the queso fundido, the tacos and the churros were very delicious and would go again for those!

    It’s started off really bad, waited forever to get our first drinks even water. The service wasn’t great at all which is disheartening because I used to love Gringo Street. Food was ok. I think our waiter tried to make it up to us with a free shot at the end which was nice of him, overall not sure if we plan to go back any time soon.

    Such a fun place to grab food and drinks! The food was reasonably priced and tasted delicious! We were celebrating a birthday which we put in our reservation and they surprised us with churros and a card which the staff signed! Would definitely come back!

    Went to Gringo Street for date night. Found the menu very limiting. My husband had the Churrasco, which was rare instead of the requested medium rare, and a Pina Colombia. I had the Patacon with side salad and a very warm Margarita. With all the dining options in the city, we likely won’t return to Gringo Street - the food was just average

    This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good! Thank you to our server, Lili.

    Cute place on 17th with a nice patio and open kitchen!! The happy hour prices were awesome and the food was even better. It was fairly loud and busy like most places on 17th, but great for a quick bite and yummy margarita :)

    Great experience at Gringo Street! They helped us celebrate our friends’ birthdays with birthday drinks and a card signed by their team (unique). The owner stopped by and said hello as well as one of the chefs offered us to try a fresh salsa which was great! The food had a lot of flavour and we tried a few different dishes which were all excellent - brisket tacos, cheese filled plantains, chicken burrito, nachos with chorizo, steak, but the best part were the churros, freshly made, crunchy outside, soft inside, not too sweet and served with dulce de leche (best churros I’ve had in a long time!). Will definitely return to this restaurant when I visit Calgary again!

    Always have a great food experience here. This time my friend and I tried all the different skewers they had on the menu, our favorites was the chicken and beef ones, the seafood one was crispy, and I found it had a little less favor than the other two. It was still good nonetheless. Then we tried the Queso Fundido, and what an explosion of spicy flavors, we weren't sure what to expect as it had hot cheetos in the dish description, however, it gave it a unique sensation to the dish. I would order it again. We also had the Argentino Taco and the sauce that comes with the brisket is oh, so good. It came with 5-6 tacos and I feel it came with enough brisket to make nice sized tacos to have some leftovers briskets to just munch on. We ended the night with the churros and it normally comes with 5, however, we chatted with the chef and he made us an extra one so my friend and I didn't have to figure out who got the last piece! It warm caramel dipping sauce it came with was a nice compliment for the churros.

    The service was not great. Our waitress barely understood English it seemed and she spoke so quietly you could barely hear her. She had trouble understanding what we were ordering and got a couple things wrong but we didn't bother saying anything because we thought it might make it worse. We hadn't been there in a few years and the menu changed a lot. No where near as good as it used to be. Everything was very greasy and runny. The only thing good, was the drinks. Overall super disappointed and we will not go back.

    Service staff was incredible! Attentive but not overdone. Recommendations were great. I would have given 5’s across the board but the margaritas were a little pricey for a single. Food was really tasty. We had the brisket tacos and the pork and the portions were really generous. Highly recommend the salsas and guacamole

    I booked on open table a week in advanced and when we get there they put us in the alley at this bar styled table that we could not even have a conversation at since it was where people walked in and waited for for a table. I went and spoke to the hostess and he said that he was sorry and he got us a new table inside. We ordered and everything was fine until all of the drinks were brought except mine. I asked the server he said he would check and then everyone’s food came out. At this point I asked two other people and then was told (after 30 mins) that they were out of the syrup. The manager apologized and gave my fiancé a free beer because at this point I didn’t want anything as our food was almost done and I was just over the experience. Just as we were about to finish our food my fiancé sound a BONE in his steak taco. We never mentioned anything to anyone and just left but man I will never be back. Also when you pay for $2.50 tacos (reg. $5 a taco not during happy hour!!!) expect them to be low quality. They looked like they were just sitting out and we’re dry. If it wasn’t for the manager showing the compassion he did I honestly would have got up and left.

    It was an interesting experience. We were somewhat/much older than the normal crowd. Not exactly our kind of music but the sound level was such that it was okay and perhaps even enjoyable. The food was good as was the service.

    The food was excellent, the drinks were amazing and the service was even better. Everyone gave plenty of care to over all experience, and our server Erika was incredible. I also loved that any of the margs or mojitos were able to be mocktails, and were reasonably priced. The bolones are a must have!
