Grotta di Fuoco, which translates to Fire Cave, is an industrial, rustic space with subtle lighting, raw steel, reclaimed wood, and concrete finishes. Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. The food is outstanding. The linguini and clam sauce was the best I have had in years. The pizza is also great. My teenagers enjoyed the pizza and they are very picky. Service wasn’t great but it was clear the waitstaff had to many tables and the bartender was slow to make drinks. Overall still a great place.

As always excellent experience. We love to sit at the bar for dinner. Had the Diavolo pizza (insanely delic) and the gnocchi(also delic). To drink- Super Tuscan for him , Persephone for me (delic but I prefer the Calabrian Margharitta which is no longer on the menu) and to finish we had, as always, perfectly blended Espresso Martinis. Have never left disappointed in our meal or our dining experience.

Love the food, loved the staff. Wish the delicious and decadent pizza with potatoes was still on the menu, but the pizza is amazing. The chicken Parm was fabulous and my wife says the branzino was the best she’s ever had (and she’s not an easy critic). She had the special salad and hopes she can get it every time. The restaurant is loud- as in very - but maybe I’m just old and don’t hear very well. Lol. We love it and will be back frequently. Thank you!!!

Love love love everything about Grotta except the acoustics - wish they would put some noise absorbing tiles or floor coverings…Noise level does not match with the intimate vibe of decor and great italian fare-but the food is still definitely worth it!

Food is great. Bread would be nice. Being told you have to order entire meal at once is nuts; nice to order apps and drinks while studying menu. Place is freezing! I’m a very generous tipper; but I resent when suggested tip is calculated including tax.

Service was quick. Wine was excellent , bread to start was crispy and warm, butter melted right in your mouth. Then had the rigatoni bolognese with lotsss of Parmesan and it was to die for. Waitresses were lovely and the vibe was stunning. Will definitely be back

I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which instantly made me feel at ease. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection - just the way I like it, medium-rare - and the balsamic glaze was the perfect complement to the tender and juicy meat. It was simply outstanding! But what really made my dining experience truly special was the exceptional service provided by my server, Cristen. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions about the menu and the restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Five stars all around
