Since 2010, Grounded's focus has been on serving great food. Our made-from-scratch philosophy and hands-on approach is evident in everything we do. We specialize in fast and healthy lunches, gastro-pub fare, third-wave coffee, and delicious cocktails.

Grounded’s new location at 1545 Carling, embodies everything the Grounded brand has come to represent. Yet, at the same time, Grounded Carling disrupts typical expectations for customer service with an innovative approach, blending automation with the human element of customer service. Customers are still greeted and attended to with the same passion and care that they have come to expect from Grounded; but they order, pay, and even “get served” through a unique digital platform and digitized go-boxes.

Grounded's space is edgy and creative. The one-of-a-kind dining room features a mix of glass, steel and concrete, an abundance of colourful lighting, and large art pieces from talented local artists.

This new concept is innovative, but the location is not for everyone. The burgers paled in comparison with the original location. Also, our drinks came at the end of the meal. Personally, I much prefer the atmosphere + decor of the original location; more quaint, with a real restaurant experience. I'd rather give a tip, and opt for the traditional approach. But Amir ways treats his customers like gold, so I hope he will forgive my candor :-) (To the next question, I will answer "yes", but there should be the option " it depends". Meaning it depends on the experience you are looking for.)
