Food quality was good but we found the format of 'family' style dishes to be ...odd. Prices were a bit high and the selection was limited. We would try lunch or dinner but we won't be back for brunch.

A lovely ambience with attentive staff. The owner is on hand and provides support and a personal touch at every table. The mixologist is talented and can whip up anything you ask for in a timely manner. The food is tasty and varied in flavours that complement. A wonderful experience!

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Grounded as well as the fact that they regularly update their menu. A friend and I ate off of the starter menu and all the items were very tasty. Points for improvement-when we noted that we were going to be sharing starters, we didn't get side plates to help serve the starters, and when we received the feta and pita starter, there wasn't nearly enough pita to be able to enjoy all the feta.

Definitely recommend Grounded Kitchen. We were a small group of 7 in for a business lunch. Service was excellent, the energy in the place was definitely positive, and the food was pretty great too. Overall, we loved it and will be back.

We had a quick lunch at Grouned Kitchen yesterday. My colleague and I both had the chicken sandwich and could not have been happier with our choice. The food was scrumptious and sized just right. The service and ambiance were both friendly and warm. Our experience was exactly what we have come to expect from Grounded - always welcoming and providing us with an elevated level of fare at a more than reasonable cost. Well done!

We got three plates to share for two of us: the brisket, tuna tartare, and the kale caesar. Each was so delicious! Our waitress was great. Cool looking space. Would highly recommend!

Grounded never disappoints, we love the friendly service and the great drinks and snacks. We really appreciate Amir and the staff for accommodating our larger party and making our friend's birthday celebration a good time :)

We went on a quiet weekday evening - amazing service, food standouts were the brisket, sausage, and corn ribs. It was my friends’ birthday and they brought out a skillet brownie for us to share that was actually to die for. Reasonable prices and ambiance was great, definitely coming back.

Wow. Food was amazing. 5 of us shared so tried a lot of everything. The Brisket...wow The wedge salad ... wow The cornbread should be a dessert. The Brussel sprouts... so many, so delicious, so many! We couldn't even finish them all. And the sauce with them, delicious. The chicken wings came still sizzling and were perfect. And the waitress, I have to say I've been thinking about her all day. She had a permanent smile. Insanely good service. I keep thinking if I could walk around with a smile like that, my co workers and customers would be happier. All day I was thinking, be like that Be like that waitress. So yeah. Great spot. Great food. Great service. Good value. All around I would highly recommend.

The young man who served us was a delight! His enthusiasm for his goal of becoming a restaurateur was infectious!! The food and drink were good but the experience was more about the service and ambiance for us

It is a very party atmosphere, so choose somewhere else if you would like to do any business or talk during lunch. Loud party music. The service was fine but not fantastic and same with the food. I have been in the evening and enjoyed it but it wasn't a great lunch option.

Recent menu changes were not a big hit with our group. We were there on a night when half the restaurant was allocated to a loud party. We were placed in a booth away from from the party. A nice effort but the venue is too small for that to make a difference.

We had a group that flexed from 20 to 16 and the staff were great about that. While we had to divide the group into 2, it worked well and service and food during the busier lunch time rush was excellent and timely. Thank you Grounded Kitchen!

Most (if not all) of the food is spicy, so if you don’t like spicy food don’t dine here. The restaurant was nice and the staff were also nice. Overall, it was alright. Food was also a little over priced.

Grounded is hands down the best restaurant we've been to in Ottawa. The catfish was delicious. The service is second to none. Amir and his staff always go out of their way to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions. Another 5 star evening.
