    Small menu. We had Brussels sprouts and chicken wings. Both were really good. They also had a good cocktail menu but we didn’t try any. Very good ambience

    We had a group that flexed from 20 to 16 and the staff were great about that. While we had to divide the group into 2, it worked well and service and food during the busier lunch time rush was excellent and timely. Thank you Grounded Kitchen!

    Grounded is hands down the best restaurant we've been to in Ottawa. The catfish was delicious. The service is second to none. Amir and his staff always go out of their way to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions. Another 5 star evening.

    The homemade cocktails are unreal and the food was so yummy! So glad we found this place! Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Next time I’m in Ottawa, I plan to visit again!

    Been here a few times and have never been disappointed! Music was a tad loud and it was hard to hear conversations, but we were also a larger group and my hearing sucks so that’s on me. Server was happy to answer the incredible amount of questions we had, and drinks were delicious!

    New menu was not appealing and value has diminished substantially since last eating at this restaurant. Dishes are smaller/no longer offer sides with a sandwich yet prices remain high. Tip function at payment machine also did not include a 15% option - only 18%, 20% or 22%.

    The menu is more for sharing appetizers, very small portions for the price but the food was delicious, we got the Caribbean Jerk corn, the brisket and maple butter cornbread. Which all tasted great, the maple butter could use more maple because I didn’t taste any in it but the butter was still good on top of the cornbread of course. The drinks were also pretty amazing too, I would recommend this restaurant for a girls night out or a double date.

    The overall experience was positive, although there was a noticeable scent of smoke upon entering the building. The grill positioned near the entrance seemed to be the source of the discomfort, catching your attention right away.

    Overall a decent experience. The service was super friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was great. The brisket was amazing BUT the sides were lacking in depth of flavour and heat. I like heat and fully expected a challenging dish, especially for the jalapeno mac and cheese and corn wings (which were really good btw) but I found they were a little on the lightweight side. Even the side of hot sauce was pretty mild (weaker than say, Frank's hot sauce). But that's just me! The only thing I would recommend is upping your seasoning game (salt, spices...a little more oomph in the heat department). Definitely will be back for your bbq though...chef's kiss!

    WE have visited Grounded Kitchen several times. The service is exceptional, polite and the staff have great memories. The food was incredible, we had oysters that were served with great accompaniments and tasteful in every sense. The Tuna Tartar Salad was among the best I have ever tasted . I would also like to comment the mixologist who makes a great Moscow Mule. Overall, it is a spectacular, comfortable and good value. We will visit often, I am sure.

    Great place, great food, great service. Not too many people at Friday night. It’s not a fancy fancy place, but very very welcomed, warm and comfortable. We had a pleasure to be there (party of 4), definitely will get back when stay again in Ottawa.
