   Atmosphere was great! Beautiful place and a festive vibe. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our table for 2 was really small. This made eating when our food came out on big trays very difficult. We hardly had room for our plates and drinks. Our waiter was great and explained the food selection pretty well. We ordered the carnitas which I found really salty, and I’m a salt person. The steak tacos were just ok. They didn’t come with much to dress them other than some sauces. The queso and my swirl margarita were good, but overall just an ok meal for an expensive price.

    Dinner was delicious. The nachos are a must try. The presentation was amazing. So colorful. The enchiladas suizas was delicious. Very filling. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant decor is beautiful.

    The experience was excellent, the food was amazing, and our server was A+. My only complaint is that we reserved our table for upstairs and they couldn’t accommodate. They said that was just a first choice “if available””.” It doesn’t say that when you are making the reservation, so we were disappointed not to be on the rooftop.

    Always great every time! Trio of guacamole and carnitas are our go to and it’s go good!! Try the carnitas extra done, it gives that extra crispness to the outside and still tender inside. Super scrumptious! Our server Carla was the added bonus for being attentive. See you soon!

    Food was excellent, service was quick. Reasons for knocking a couple stars-we were seated indoors, near the kitchen. This, combined with a popular dish being something smoking/sizzling, caused the entire area to be smoky almost the whole duration of our meal, not easy to breathe and not nice on the eyes. We both felt like we stank after we left. As well, I indicated on my reservation that my husband and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. I was very disappointed that nothing was done to make our evening special; no mention of it at all. Wish we would have gone elsewhere for this occasion.

    Our service was poor despite having two waiters. Our refills were neglected, my cocktail was forgotten - twice, and my friend had to ask multiple times for a straw. The food was really good but in what world are tacos and a margarita for one person $50?!

    Overall, had a good time. Staff was excellent, very friendly and very patient with our table. The only thing was it felt a bit pricey. However, the portions were large and the food was really really tasty.

    great girls night vibe. the food is stunning! price seems high. $37 before tip for 1 drink and a salad with no protein seems $10 too high, but I love the food and will be back, just not as often as I would if a better value.

    We loved Guacamole when it was located in the East End and visited the Nulu location for the first time this weekend. The food and service were as terrific as before, but the decor has really been stepped up - what a gorgeous, colorful and festive atmosphere! We especially loved the "hanging chairs" and hope to get to sit in them next time - how fun! The 4 of us each ordered something different, and we were all wowed by the quality and taste of our entrees. The guacamole trio appetizer was also delicious, though the portions are fairly small and you run out of guac way before chips. For the price, I wish they'd be more generous. The prices overall are high, especially for lunch. The quality and taste are worth it, but $50+ for lunch for 2 is more of a special occasion. (oh, and the vegetarian options I loved before weren't listed on the menu now, but if you ask, they are happy to make veggie versions of tacos, enchiladas, etc. While still good, unfortunately, it wasn't the same veggie enchilada dish they used to have - hoping they will bring it back one day!)

    The menu and prices on Open Table for Guacamole are way different, 2-3 times more expensive. The Open table menu should be updated so it is not misleading

    I made reservations for an upstairs table for 7:15. We were on time to the restaurant and they sat us downstairs right by the host stand. My seat was in the pathway to the rest of the restaurant. Besides the front door it was the most high traffic spot in the restaurant. I told them that we had reservations for upstairs and they said we would have to wait 10-15 minutes for a table to be open. There were multiple multiple 4 top tables available, but apparently we still had to wait for a 2 top table. We went to the bar to get a drink while we waited and we were ignored for about 5 minutes by about 5-6 people behind the bar making drinks. We finally were greeted and we’re able to order a drink. They took us upstairs to our table within the 15 minutes and from there the service was good.
