The food was extremely tasty, and the portions were generous. The staff were attentive and friendly. We ordered the Dine Out Vancouver specials. It was a nice evening until a table of 2 couples sat down beside us. They were disappointingly noisy.

We were excited to try the dine out menu. The food was ok, was not particularly authentic and was extremely salty. The dessert flan was surprisingly a failure. I thought you can’t go wrong with a flan. The flan tasted like instant flan from a box, and there were drizzled chocolate sauce, which tasted like Nesquik chocolate syrup. The service was good, but servers seemed a little inexperienced and probably overworked/overwhelmed by the number of tables they were serving. Overall, the food and service was fine, but I likely won’t be returning.

Appeared to be understaffed. Waited 30 min before the waitress came to take an order. Brought the wrong bottle of wine and poured it. I discovered 10 min in that it was not what I ordered. The entrees were just warm. The appetizers were delicious though.

Amazing food and wonderful service. Orders were a bit slow coming out and there was a bit of a delay between each party receiving their entrees, but there were only two ladies working (one server and one behind the bar) and the place was pretty busy. The server was super nice and it was clear that everyone was trying their best during a rush. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great, the restaurant itself was really small and cozy, and I would definitely come back again in the future.

We have been walking by the Gurkha Himalayan Kitchen for years - always thought we should give it a try. The other day we did and what a wonderful surprise. We sat out on the patio for dinner, had the heater on and with the pleasant servers, was a wonderful experience. Then the food came - I had the lamb - and the best lamb I have had in Vancouver - and I have eaten a lot of lamb. Their chicken wings were to die for too. Other plate was skewered chicken and excellent too. We will be back and have no hesitation recommending to anyone. Total price with liquor for 4 was $176. A great dinner, a great price. Thanks Gurkha Himalayan Kitchen.

Cannot say enough great things about this little restaurant. Very friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. Father in Law had the Chili chicken stirfry, I had the traditional curry platter and my wife had the chow mein which she also loved.

Had the DineOutVancouver menu (3 course meal for $25). The chicken momos, spinach lamb, and cheesy pistachio lush was delicious. Would come back again to try other dishes. Service was also great. We arrived at our reservation time but didn't get a seat until 20 minutes later--it was no big deal. People were just taking a longer time finishing their meals. We got served some papadum while waiting for our seat to become available.
