   This was our first time there. If you are worried about the food being two spicy, don't they can adjust the level of spice. Our server was terrific at making suggestions and we really had a lovely time. Will most definitely be back.

    There may be another restaurant which makes butter chicken and naan as well as Guru but I haven't found it...and I doubt I will.

    This is my favourite desi restaurant to dine in. There’s a dish that I specifically ask for and even though it’s not on their menu, no one makes it better than them (I’m gonna keep it my little secret). The service is usually great but this time around the server seemed a little fast paced which caused him to misunderstand us a few times. The food is always exceptional, seriously, give that chef a raise. The environment is very classy. Love everything!

    Enjoyed a lovely supper at Guru. At first we thought the dishes were a bit expensive, but the portion sizes were great and the food was delicious.... naan bread like I've never had before. Service was great. Will definitely be back... soon!!

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news as this is one of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton. But this time was a bit of a bad experience for us. We waited over an hour for our food, we saw bigger tables get sat after us and got served and finished eating before we got ours. When we did get our food, we got a dish we didn't order instead of what we actually ordered. When we asked the waitress she was a little too frazzled to know what the dish was I asked about. Still good food, don't get me wrong just not what we ordered.

    The staff and manager were awesome, and very accommodating and gracious. Food was great (and one of our party is very selective in his dining). Nice big portions even lots to take home. The slushie drink Hyper—(something) was AMAZING!! A great evening.

    I have several friends that recommended Guru to us. We weren’t disappointed at all. Food was amazing. Mohan or server was fantastic. He had good recommendations for us and we throughly enjoyed our experience! We will certainly be back!!
