   Gustazo is my wife and my favorite night out. Great food, great cocktails, and more uses of a plantain then we ever thought possible. The Queso Frito was superb, but the Jibarito and Chicharrones are still our favorites.

   The acoustics in the downstairs area were not great. They were also clearly quite understaffed and it took quite a long time to get our drinks and food. Food was good, but not worth the price in my opinion.

   I really enjoyed having my Dad visit my boyfriend and I and finally being able to go here. It’s been difficult to obtain a reservation since you all opened back up due to its immense popularity. While I loved your dinner menu, may you bring back your lunch menu you had for bit. We never had the chance to try that and it looked really good! Thank you.

   Gustazo is a very fun place. The food was creative and good. The lamb chop was amazing. The service was very good - until the place filled up. It was noisy and packed and the waiter was so busy that towards the t d if the meal it took a long time to see him again. Prior to that he was great.

   We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Small plates are such a wonderful way to share a meal. The service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Wine and cocktail selections are great. Would definitely return!

   The place is lovely. I think there is a lot of potential. But they are fumbling. When we walked in, the young woman at the desk were talking aloud about being confused, something wasn’t where it needed to be, it was all very audible, their distress evident,and there were customers standing there for several minutes waiting to be seated. The menu was on unstapled sheets of paper that were not numbered. The two menus they handed us were also not collated. So right away, upon sitting down, we were confused. Wait staff didn’t know what they were doing. Food was delivered to the wrong table several times. The dishes themselves were hit or miss. For tapas, the servings were too big and heavy, and there was too much sauce on the plate for the food to rest on. The sauce, in two cases, felt superfluous, even problematic. It didn’t add anything flavor wise, was even a bit confusing (something that tasted like hommus was used as a bed for meduros wrapped in bacon). The portions didn’t make sense for tapas. TS and I usually get 6 tapas for a meal, we were not able to finish what we ordered. We got tacos filled with Jonah crab, for instance. The tortillas were made from yucca (delicious but heavy) and each taco had two tortillas. This is necessary for corn tortillas because they can tear. Yucca tortillas are much sturdier, and much more filling. It was over kill. Someone needs to take a good look at the flow and the menu. We need a good Cuban restaurant and I hope Gustazo gets their act together.

    Absolutely incredible! I’ve been several times and have been wowed each time. The food is to die for, service is amazing, decor is beautiful and they have such a variety you’ll never be bored with the menu. Seriously though, the food is fresh and bursting with flavor! It’s mostly tapas style though they have some entrees as well. Highly recommend.

    The food was amazing. We’ve eaten at the Waltham location and ordered some of the same dishes numerous times. but the execution at the Cambridge location is stellar and far better. I could eat those dishes weekly. The food has so much flavor.

    Food was amazing, but buckle up it’ll take a long time to actually make it to your table. If you’re early for your reservation and figure we’ll grab a drink at the bar - again prepare to wait. The bartender upstairs wouldn’t even look at us and the two downstairs wouldn’t acknowledge us for 15 minutes. The food is wonderful but it takes a LONG time to make it from the kitchen to your table.

    Food was greasy. The service was definitely off - they forgot some items, brought multiple of the wrong items, and kept messing up the drinks (one person in our party had an allergy and they brought drinks with that ingredient or not knowing if the ingredient was in it or not). After a while it became comical. The manager did come over to apologize which was nice, but we won’t be going back.

    Overall, Gustazo was good. We had originally made a reservation for bar seating, which is our favorite way to experience a new restaurant. When we arrived, we were told that there was nothing available at the bar, and offered a table for two along a banquette. The table was comfortable, but because of the noise level, it was harder for me to hear my wife’s conversation than if we were sitting side by side at the bar. Our server was wonderful, and once we’d ordered, our food and first drinks arrived quickly. When I ordered a second drink, it took quite a while. Our sever was apologetic, and comped us a dessert for the trouble. The food was tasty, especially the queso frito y pisto and the coliflor asada. I would go back, but only when it’s quieter, or when I know I can sit at the bar.

    Delicious cocktails, friendly service and delicious food. We had a few small plates and 1 large plate for three people. The roasted pork was delicious as were the yucca fries and plantain chips. The restaurant was busy and everyone seemed to be having an enjoyable time. Highly recommend

    The cauliflower tapas the lamb chops and the beet salad are amazing! All the large plates are worth getting as each has complex and different flavor and very delicious. The Maduros are a favorite.

    great place to meet friends for meal. The ambiance was nice and the staff was courteous. We have 6 people so we are able to try 10 different dishes. All the meat dishes are done just right: juicy and full of flavor.

    Excellent service from the waitress. The restaurant was very busy and he provided regular updates and good advice on the menu. We , love the small plates and the food was excellent. Perfect mojitos Lively ambiance but extremely noisy. We sat outside, much better.

    I was visiting my son. We wanted to revisit Gustavo’s as our first time there was great. Unfortunately we had one of our worst dining experiences ever. The wait staff was incredibly overwhelmed, mismanaged and clueless about they needed to do. From start to finish the service was abysmal.
