The only downside about gusto North is that it gets very loud and it’s hard to hear. And I like a lively ambience.

We sat out on the patio. Great atmosphere, low noise and the service was incredible. Loved the food and we plan on returning to experience more from the menu.

We went early, and it was quiet. So quiet that you’d assume the service would have been perfect but it wasn’t really. The whole experience was very subpar and we probably won’t be rushing to go back. The patio is nice and the drinks are cold but that’s kind of it

We recently celebrated a friend’s birthday. We shared a salad and a pasta dish ( it was lunchtime!) and we delighted by our choices. Server Linnea was terrific. Lovely and friendly. We highly recommend Gusto North for special and not so special occasions.

We were seated on the patio and the atmosphere was excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food and cocktails was excellent and would recommend anyone to try this great restaurant in downtown Winnipeg.

It helps when you close your restaurant for the day to notify your guests who had a large party reservation. Very unimpressed and this is the second experience of the three I have had there. The only positive thing to say about this place is the view but for the lack of customer experience I do not think I will be bringing anymore group parties to this spot.

Have dined here a few times now and have yet to wowed. Had a reso…came early and requested a table with better lighting (closer to the natural light from the windows) and was told flat out “all our tables were accounted for”…when there were at least for or five other tables that were not being used at that time. A bit of shuffling of the plan would have been no issue in my opinion. The attendant could have offered to turn up the lighting in the area where we were seated…but that wasn’t offered as a solution either. Our server was prompt and engaging…and our food was good…other than the broccolini salad that was very disappointing to say the least. I have dined here numerous times over the winter due to the proximity to the Canada Life Centre…and each occasion has been just just a three star rating for me. We really enjoy the Gusto on Academy…but this location has a bit of work to do in our opinion.

Having Pizzeria gusto be our occasion spot we’re pretty familiar with the food and overall superb experience. While sharing similar menus and price points the difference in service and walk away impressions were stark. Relieved when the food finally came we were thrown at the hostess not knowing the pizzas she brought out. Not a big deal as we knew what we ordered. But then one of the many servers we had also mixed them up as our other guests weren’t as privy of the menu. The bills got messed up at the end as well. The food and ambience smoothed out these hiccups. Overall still a positive experience.

We sat inside as there was no space on the patio, found the noise level quite high, there were no shortages of staff but service was mediocre at best. Our server was seen multiple times walking around talking to other staff, rather than checking in. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a customer who likes to be bothered often and I even felt it was lacklustre. Food was good, came hot and was tasty.

Went before an event at Canada Life Centre. Pizzas were “ok”…but ingredients and quality were not worth the price. Lighting was so low it seemed like we were seated in a closed section. Noise level was ridiculous. Wouldn’t rush to go back.

The service was impeccable! Sydney was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick out the perfect dishes. Chef is amazing! Server Sydney was perfect energy and so welcoming! We will definitely be back!

Gusto North is the perfect location for a pre-event dinner downtown. Great menu, great cocktails/wine list, and awesome staff. They are attentive, courteous, and go the extra mile. Book early to get a table, especially on event nights!
