This was our 1st time at this restaurant and our experience was exceptional. We had a reservation and although we had to wait because the restaurant was so busy, we were comped a couple of appetizers as a reward. The wait staff explained how things worked and our waitress was exceptional and listened to our questions. The experience was fun and we all day a great time. Food was delicious and we will be back!!

Definitely a fun, unique experience...cooking your own food. Starters come already cooked and the four we tried were all delicious. The food is good. We were seated right next to the front door so I can't really speak to the atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable but wish we saw her more frequently. We'll definitely revisit.

The service was odd. We had some time prior to our table so we went to the bar. The host, who seemed to also be serving tables let us know the bartender didn't show up. OK... We sit down, we had a pleasant time, and the food was good. But the waitress would disappear for long spells. It's a small restaurant, it's not like we saw her busy, just not there at all. She comes back and said she was in a meeting. What type of restaurant manager would pull all their servers from the floor, with dining guests for a meeting. I'm not sure who the owner is; but they clearly do not have a focus on service.

We always have great service with the exception Of this visit.. our server started out great but food was taking too long, she said they were in the middle of a shift switch and then some of our items were forgotten about. I had to grab the attention of our server to bring us the check.. usually our dine in time is 1 hr but we were there for 2.

Not the staff fault but lack of management was obvious. We were left standing for more than 15 mins without anyone talking to us or asking if we had a reservation or not. Also they took a long time before coming to get our order or ask if we were ready to order. They gave us the check without us asking for it. Pros: staff were nice when they interacted with us but it seemed that they were overwhelmed with work

We were planning this for a while and we wanted to do the all you can eat. But a few hours before, my jaw started hurting so bad that I could barely open my mouth. We asked if the rest of the table could still do the all you can eat and we were told no because the whole table has to agree on it and the same tier. We asked if an exception could be made, but we were just told “this is how we do it here.” We didn’t see anywhere on the website or menu that the whole table has to agree. I definitely would have cancelled and gone another time if we knew. Also, the waitress was clearing our table without asking us where things went and just putting utensils down wherever. She took a spoon that was used for raw meat and put it on a plate of cooked meat. When we asked for a replacement she said she would check if she could do that and then didn’t come back until the check was ready. When the check came, we asked to take the dish that was ruined off of the total. She again had to go check, and they did remove it. The food was great, but the service was not.

Really enjoyed the food and experience! Logistics were not great, though, so I hope that improves… it does concern me to think about how a business can’t get simple things right but then trust that things like food handling and storage are fine. We did the top all you can eat package, and it took a really long time for food to come after ordering it. It was hard to order accurately because you really needed to order before you ate a round and even with that there were very long breaks between. Several of the items we ordered did not ever arrive or I needed to remind them to bring out after an extended period of time. Our server said that there was something wrong with their ordering system and that the staff was needing to manually enter orders. Our table of 4 all needed to share one fork and no spoons for desserts (including ice cream!) and were told that there were no more clean utensils.

They were so busy and I asked for a beer and I'm almost done when they gave it to me. They just gave me a free dessert because of that mistake. Food was really great. It's not my first time here. I love the food here.

Big shout out to Adam and Keven - they were amazing! We had an amazing time. The food was like an elevated Korean BBQ experience. The meats were perfectly marinated and they were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The garlic fried rice was both comforting and interesting. Everything was outstanding. The cuts of chicken were a little on the small side which made it a little challenging to grill, but they tasted incredible. It got really loud at times, but it didn't detract from the experience and we went on Saturday so it was extra busy. This is an experience you don't want to miss. It felt very special and the food experience was exceptional. Service was also outstanding.

I went with my friends to try the food over here and I was so happy that we did! I arrived first because my friends got stuck on traffic and the server (I believe her name was Carmen) talked to me for a little bit while I checked the drinks menu and made me feel less awkward about waiting! She was such a delight to all of us and explained the menu so well in detail and gave us super great recommendations! After leaving we couldn’t stop talking about how she literally made the experience a thousand times better! And is not only her, most of the service staff would pass by our table as well to check on us so we felt very well taken care of. (: Food was excellent, everything tasted so fresh and delish, we took one of the courses for 4 people and it had SO MUCH food, totally worth the price they sell them.

Very tasty Japanese BBQ, fun experience cooking at the table. However, we waited 30 minutes past our reservation time with our party of 6 to be seated. Then, our food came out very delayed, we didnt get the salad or rice until we had finished almost all of the meat, it took an hour to get a cup of tea. Our server was very nice, tried her best, but the kitchen was just so behind. My guess is they have staffing issues.

I went by myself. I got up to use the restroom and left my jacket in my seat. When I got back, they had completely cleared and reset the table. I sat back down because I wasn’t done eating, and the host came over twice to ask what I was doing and how long I would be.

With a 90 minute time limit, we didn't get our raw meat to grill till 2 hours later. Then after we got our meats, felt like they were trying to rush us out when we wanted to order more. By doing so, they offered if we want anything from the dessert menu and gave us the check. Even after they gave us the check, more of the food we had ordered 3 hours earlier were still coming out LOL 😂

We came here on a whim for Christmas lunch. The food was great and it was a really fun experience! My 9 and 12 yo boys loved cooking their own food and trying all of the different meats and sides. This may be a new family tradition. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly service. I'd recommend Gyu-Kaku to anyone .
