Very disappointed in the service I received. Got the dinner for two, an item was missed and brought out after our table was cleared. The dessert was awkward to eat between two people, should divide the dessert into separate glasses and provide smaller spoons.

Dinner at Gyu-Kaku was one of my favorite nights out in a long time! Other than us over ordering and needing to be rolled out, the food was delicious, flavourful and the service was simply outstanding. And I need to give a shout out to our server Lynn, who was extremely attentive to us, made sure to walk us through the menu as it was our 1st time at the restaurant, and regularly checking in on us and changing the grill to ensure the flavours on each course didn't interfere with the one before. Outstanding service! I would definitely recommend going. And note that underground parking is available and can be validated, something we didn't realize until we had already street parked.

Everything (food and service) was great! I wish they wouldn't advertise free 4 hours parking. We received two tickets and both didn't work. The hostess said we just needed to dial the intercom to exit, but no one answered. We even tried the phone number.

Food was delicious as usual but it took over 1hr for the main course to come out, and then we were rushed to finish up and leave. We also had to request items from our order that were part of our meal but never came, and my date didn’t receive his drink order. I think it may have been just an off night but it was a bit frustrating nonetheless

I have been there twice in recent weeks since December 2022. The establishment is modern and clean. The staff are attentive. The food is reasonable and plentiful. It is flavourful and fresh. I visited with 2 different groups and all in attendance were impressed. The restaurant provides 4hrs of free underground parking on request. Great for a chilly night. Lots of vegan, meat, options. Definitely an establishment that provides a menu for every dietary need. Staff are particular to change out the grill when cooking builds up and cooking instructions. The restaurant can be a little drafty due to a direct exit to outside as well as to the building concourse, whichcan be drafty.

Fantastic spot, great service, GREAT FOOD. We went during Happy Hour which is daily until 6 PM and the food was a little cheaper. We ordered quite a bit of food, around 10 dishes that cost total $105 after taxes and tip so it wasn't that expensive given how much everything is nowadays.

My boyfriend and I went there for a date night. The dumplings and the Chefs Choice Barbecue Course was delicious. The staff was very helpful and friendly . A must go ❤️

Amazing! Went for NYE dinner and got the Christmas dinner set for 2 - the quality of the meat and marinades was incredible and the quantity was more than enough. Great service too - the staff frequently swapped out our grill for new ones without us asking and gave us pointers as to how long to cook the meats for to achieve the perfect grill. The restaurant itself was upbeat, relaxed, and clean. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be returning!

For was excellent and the service was great. Should have been an amazing night out, but management failed big time. Spending a lot of money for our first date night in years with a babysitter for the kids just to have the table next to us have 4 children screaming, throwing food, dumping water, running in front of servers and all around destroying the atmosphere you would expect from a restaurant at those prices. The parents just watched and occasionally laughed and not once did staff or management try to handle the situation. As a parent I was disgusted at the behavior of the children, but as a patron I was disgusted the manager did not address the situation. Whoever the manager was on Dec 30th in the evening should be reprimanded. I will not return after this experience.

This was our first time trying, we had the chefs special which was a pre-made items, the service was a little slow for our liking everything came out in courses like one item after the other and we were hungry and some of the food wasn’t that great, but s’mores at the end and Po our server was great saved the rating.

Service was slow especially as we waited more than 10 minutes to be greeted and then again to order. Service was spotty at times during the meal but was very friendly and attentive with requests. We had the $95 holiday package and it was perfect for 2 people and very tasty.

The food was pretty good, but the servers kept rushing us even when we still had plenty of time left before our 2 hour limit. It was pretty annoying especially since we were celebrating a birthday. Also multiple different servers got our dessert order wrong multiple different times.
