It is a very good deal with a lot of meat for $50. Delicious cuts, nicely marinated. If you love vegetables this might not be the place for you though. ;-) My only complaint is that the noise level was way too high. For a yakiniku restaurant there is the expectation of an upscale pub, but the feeling here was top quality food with a Hooters ambience given how loudly the music was turned up. I couldn't have much of a conversation with my dinner guest. Still it was delicious and a lot of fun.

Food is delicious and because you have to grill the food yourself, promotes slow eating - which is awesome in this day and age. Place is crowded, sometimes noise level is a bit too much. Reservations are in order.

Amazing food with great service! It's a bit expensive but for the quality of food and taste you're getting compared to other BBQs, it's worth trying. I can't remember our waiter and waitresses name but they were really nice and efficient! Would come back again!

Very delicious menu, with lots of variety, decently priced cocktails and overall a pretty fun experience. Ended up going with the 4 person menu and it was more than enough food, and also a nice introduction to what is available. They change the grill a few times throughout the service, and service and staff were great as well.

Great place to go! If you is a passionate from Japonese BBQ, you must try it! Good service and a delicious food. Everything had so much quality. The price is ok for the level of the service and food, it's not a cheap restaurant, but it's definitely worth it.

Their service was excellent! Actually I forgot my Debit card in the restaurant and one of the waiters run outside in the freezing temperature and passed it to me! It was amazing!!! Great staff! Thank you so much for your kindness! I strongly recommend here.

We are in Montreal celebrating and my partner’s favourite food is yakiniku so I booked this place to surprise him as the east coast doesn’t have such restaurants. Our server was Ann and she was amazing! So cheerful and full of energy. I cannot express enough how amazing she made our experience. She (or a colleague) called to confirm our reservation and ask what we were celebrating. They assured us that they would put aside a good table for us, which they did. We ordered from a festive special and let me just say it is a lot of food! We left with our bellies full for sure! We ordered a gyutan on top of the special which was brought out of they typical sequence expected of yakiniku, just him being nitpicky about it. Understanding that this is a chain, critique of yakiniku no tare options being underwhelming is no fault of the staff but worth a mention. Would recommend asking for shio tare and lemon which was very nice. Karaage wasn’t super flavourful or crispy but it was fresh! Rice is medium grain, not short grain. Gyu nigiri is quite nice. They were out of asahi and kirin but Sapporo is on tap and we enjoyed that. House sake is sho chiku bai and is nice. It is better chilled but can also be ordered warm if you’d like. The dessert option is diy s’mores which was SO FUN. They also brought him some complementary green tea ice cream for our celebration which was very kind. We finished up just under our 2 hour time limit without feeling rushed. This place is high energy! Not a complain, I love it, just to keep in mind. You will have your dinner punctuated with loud irasshaimase and arigato gozaimashita shouts from staff. It really keeps things lively and energetic! Thanks for the amazing night out! We recommend a night out here! Make a reservation because it will be busy!

Première expérience dans ce restaurant Gyu-Kaku. Viandes et marinades excellentes. Tarif raisonnable dans le centre-ville de Montréal. En revanche, service négligeant et désordonné : pas de table disponible à notre arrivée malgré la réservation, serveuse peu enthousiaste nous informant que nous disposerons de 2h max pour dîner, un premier plat servi avant les entrées, les enfants servis 20 minutes après les adultes. Pour terminer, on nous apporte l'addition avant même qu'on ait eu le temps de commander les desserts. Sans doute une mauvaise soirée pour cette jeune serveuse en formation.
