We did the Luau brunch after seeing it advertised on social media. Started with a mai tai that wasn’t a mai tai at all.. terrible!!! The food was okay. The pork Benny and chicken were good. The mahi mahi was very dry. The warm fruit smoothie punch was warm and not good. The dessert was terrible. Cheap stale cupcakes and some form of Hawaiian sweet jellies. It could have been so much better with fresh tropical fruit offerings and ice cream. Did not see the açai bowls anywhere. The buffet at a casino for$20 is much better. The music was okay. It was better when it was acoustic and no vocals. I was treating my brother and his two kids for his birthday. For the kids who are 15 and 18, it was definitely not a good value. The service was not good. It took over 15 minutes to flag down someone to take our order and they did not come around until we finished our meals to give water and coffee refills. Overall, a expensive and disappointing experience that set us back $300 for 6 of us that would have been $150 anywhere else with better food. I’m pretty upset about spending that much for that experience. Would not recommend unless they improve the food, service, and music. However the actual hotel has a really nice ambience.. it’s too bad because this had the potential to be so much more.
Good afternoon, Thank you for dining at H2 Rotisserie & Bar and reviewing your recent experience. I'm disappointed to hear that the Luau Brunch was below your expectations and that you did not receive the excellent service, cocktails and selection of items that we pride ourselves on providing. Please accept our apologies and know that this is unusual for us. In order to make it up to you, please give our manager, Elayne Lim a call at 604.834.0343. We look forward to connecting with you further!
We visited H2 during their Luau Brunch promotion and the food was amazing. Although it may seem by looking at the brunch spread, there's not enough food choices but once you pick up your plate and fill it with their Lomi salmon, prawn ceviche, Hawaiian infused chicken, pulled pork eggs benedict, jackfruit sliders, grilled corn, tofu and veggie skewer, roast pork, Filipino style noodles (pansit), salads, their yummy desserts and Hawaiian smoothie (it's more than enough food). For the price per person, the quality of food and the views of the mountain/harbour, you simply can't complain and plus they had live music.
Overall, our experience was great and we would come back again and maybe bring some of our friends with us too.
Hi there, Thank you for dining at H2 Rotisserie & Bar and reviewing your recent experience. I'm thrilled that you had a wonderful time at our Sunday Luau Brunch, indulging in our delicious offerings, and enjoying the live music. My team and I are grateful for your kind comments. We hope to welcome you back soon! Cheers, Elayne Lim Restaurant & Bar Manager
The attention we received was top drawer. The live music in the restaurant and in the bar was great. The food was not 5 star the chicken was ok, fish and chips the same. Value was good. We had hoped for a great view but the courtyard building spoilt it. We would go again as the music would be the draw
It’s a typical menu and quality for a 4 star hotel. The patio was nice but the view is of the pool. Their famous chicken was average best but expensive.

Good food, good view, good service. Will definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back
Stopped in at the bar for a few pre drink drinks. Yam fries were delicious and the Moscow mules were great. Server was excellent- just the right amount of attentiveness without being obtrusive. Came back later for dinner. Husband had the fish tacos and I had the seafood fettuccine. Both were very good.
Lovely outdoor setting.
Loved the fact that I could reserved a table for ten people!!
Busy place, we were a large table. we had some cold food. Waiter was great. Nice location
Service attention between intervals (initial greeting to follow up on order placement, receipt of bill) was less than sufficient. Although customers were sparse, perhaps lunch staffing level was not adequate, making business lunch longer than necessary.
Best seafood linguini I have ever had. Been craving more since. Great drinks. Great service. Nice ambiance. All over very happy with our visit and will return. Probably soon for that pasta. :)
Service was not good, waited 1 hr and then was told computer glitch and order never went in.
There was a graduation going on as well as the basketball game so it was very loud. Also the food was not up to par
This venue has a relaxing garden setting facing the north shore mountains. The chocolate cake was moist and chocolatey. Our server was informative and friendly.
We go there all time for there breakfast buffet for more than 10 years and since the last year everything start to go down from food quality to change in menu
Today April 22 we went to give it another chance
No omelette station no basil chicken sausage potatoes was raw smoked salmon crusty bread basket was almost empty we spend 90 dollars for very low quality and limited food ,it’s sad our nice. Favourite restaurant like this now
I will never go back
My mum and I went here for their Easter buffet - she seemed to enjoy the offerings from the carving station and I liked the shakshuka. There were various options offered so people with different preferences are and will be accommodated.
Our group met for breakfast at H2 which is situated inside the Westin Hotel on Bayshore, downtown Vancouver. The group was celebrating three of us who all got new jobs within the space of a week. We spent almost 3 hours there and I believe if we had stayed any longer we would have been asked to leave as the staff was setting up for lunch. :-) The dining area was large and spacious with large floor to ceiling windows that let in the bright spring morning light. The service was friendly and professional and the breakfast entree choices were quite varied. Most of us went for variations of eggs benedict but I decided to satisfy my sweet tooth with the peach french toast and a side of port sausages. Coffee and tea kept flowing as we had an engaging and ranging conversation. Overall a delightful morning with friends. One downer was we were hoping to get a good view of the Burrard Inlet but breakfast was located facing the empty pool surrounded by fencing that obscured the Inlet. Our understanding was that the better view can be had in the other dining area at dinner.
We had a lovely brunch after some amazing spa services at Vida Spa. The waitress was very nice and brought us a complimentary dessert for my God-daughter's birthday. Will definitely be back!
Delicious, fresh food. Overpriced, like everything in YVR. Great service!!
Great evening dinner, not to noisy, great food with a large section of different items to choose between. The service was great. Would recommend to anyone staying at the Westin Bayshore or in the area to come down for drinks and dinner.
Service was exceptional!
Excellent from the moment we walked in, from the hosts greeting us and seating us, our servers, and even the chefs that prepared the buffet who were around to chat and serve, even take our photographs. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing time at H2 Rotisserie & Bar. We have been there a few times. Once with our entire family and once with just my husband and self. The atmosphere is elegant, yet comfortable! We loved it all.
Best seafood chowder outside of Boston. The only thing missing was the bread bowl. Beef brisket was a generous size and tasty. Service was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the hotel: from the gentleman at the valet to the staff at the H2 restaurant. Planning to come back here again soon.
Greatly enjoyed the wonderful Brunch. Looking forward to dining here again.
Thank you for a lovely time.
We were there for the Vancouver Food Festival, the restaurant was fine, the entree was tough. Probably shouldn't order beef brisket in Canada.
The food was mediocre and the service was below average.
The place is beautiful and it has good potential. we were impressed with the renovation.
The dine out beef does not look good or taste good. it looks pretty bad . The dine out fish is dry and salty but at least looks good.
The service was not very nice or patient with us. The manager was nice to come and check on food but our waitress was not patient with us. we were a large group and i understand it’s not easy but nevertheless ...
Good food and excellent service
The food was good and usually the service is great. I think they were very busy because the service was not up to it’s usual standard. Once we asked for service, our “server” was very quick to comply. She’s usually excellent.
We called the restaurant to make sure buffet brunch is available on the day of our reservation - the guy over the phone told us there will be buffet but when we got there - there was no buffet - quite disappointing! The regular lunch menu has very limited choices.
Yearly family trip to the Stanley Park train so we decided to try Westin Bayshore H2. Awesome service and quality!
It was very slow for the amount of people there - it took 25 mins and two servers to get one old fashioned, it was bizarre. The food was simple food and took a tremendous time to get it. But the server was friendly, the food was good xx
Food was amazing. Drink menu is great. Service was mediocre. They lack staff. And since the gratuity was already included (we we're a group of 12) the waiting staff didn't put mush effort in being polite or paying much attention to us.
The food is overpriced and not very good.
Well we will be back for sure and will to stay in and have a room and see what breakfast and lunch fare might be.
Fabulous waitress and yummy bar drink called West Van sour. I think I could take the bartender home.
No complaints and comped valet parking was an added bonus.
Definetly will return and this made dinner with son and husband extra special. Thank you again.
I've had lunch and dinner here a few times. Previous lunch and dinner was good.
For some reason, this time it was very dissappointing. My grandson and I ordered the Peachy French Toast for our lunch.
First, the food came in late maybe at least 30 minutes after. Both of us did not see any peach(es) in or around the French Toast. I thought for a while the middle of the French Toast was a bit raw (uncooked) so I asked the waitress to send it back. She came back to advise it is actually not "raw" but cream.
I did not enjoy the meal. I was not that hungry for lunch in the first place hence ordering something like this on the menu. But the description on the menu should at least be changed if there is not even a taste or even slices of Peaches because that is what attracted us to this one.
I wanted to answer yes and no to recommending this to a friend but cannot key in both since I enjoyed the few times I was there and would recommend. However, if I had gone to this restaurant just once then my answer would be no.
Our waitress Tracy was wonderful for our breakfast! Anytime after that was just so so . I would recommend for breakfast but not the rest of the day.
Dinner rolls were not freshly made for the price paid. Asparagus was too spicy. Espresso was not good. I asked for extra gravy, and the server forgot it too. Will not dine or recommend the place again. Nothing special about it
Overall quite good, but food appears to vary in quality. The rotisserie chicken had been cooked at least a day ahead and was quite dry. Previously the chicken we ate there was moist, hot and juicy - really nice. Coleslaw is a good side dish, but we found ours contained too much pepper and we had to leave it. Why not add just a touch of seasoning and allow diners to add pepper etc. to suit their own taste? Service was very good but the ambiance would be improved for casual conversation if the singer could move to a corner of the room and not use amplified sound.
We enjoyed our experience immensely. Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It felt like home yet we were in an elegant space at the same time.
