Reservations are required and must be made online or by calling H2O in Smithtown. We currently can accommodate parties up to six. Due to our limited waiting area and compliance restrictions, we have implemented a table time policy. Parties of two may stay for ninety minutes, parties of three to six guests may stay for one hour and forty five minutes. In accordance with government guidelines, you must wear a mask on site. We provide contactless payment, digital menus and/or disposable paper menus. Popovers are back; served for one dollar each.

Food was good, overall atmosphere is good, service was great. Inside is getting a bit dated though since the place looks the same after many years of coming here. Wish they would simply spruce it up some since it's a good restaurant.

Always a pleasure to go to this great restaurant. It is absolutely my favorite. The food is always exquisite, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is vibrant and uplifting. It’s almost like I have a second family at age 2 on. Always fun to be in this environment. The staff are all very warm, friendly, attentive, and fun to be with.

The Wednesday Wine Dinner Price Fix Dinner at H2O in Smithtown is the best deal on Long Island for fine dining … and wining!! At $40 for an exceptional three course meal that may feature Black Sea Bass, Filet Mignon or another outstanding main course plus an optional $15 for wines tailored to each course it’s the BEST. My wife and I ate there recently and had great service in a handsome dining room professionally watched over by Manager Jeremy.

There were three of us for dinner. We each ordered off the Wednesday Night Wine Menu. The crab and artichoke stuffed mushrooms were very good. Our steaks were delicious and prepared as we liked. The chocolate mousse tart was excellent. Our server Michael was excellent.

Sorry to say but H2O , which for a long time was a favorite place for us to visit , really let us down last night. Our server was very unpolished and a bit abrupt. The prices have always been on the high side but i noticed that the whole menu had taken a steep hike up with a glass of mediocre wine 15$ and bottles clearly marked up beyond reason. We are used to and afford high priced restaurants but expect that the food will at least be great and neither our appetizers or my entree fit this bill. Seafood wontons tasted like they had come from a freezer bag. My watermelon sald was supposed to have whipped feta and it did not. 19$ for both and not worth it. My filet mignon 10 0z at 58$ was tough and dry. Sorry H20 but its time to get a grip.

Is there a better deal than H2O's Wednesday Wine Dinners? I think not! If you haven't been, please go. And you don't have to be a wine lover/wine drinker to enjoy it. I started with popovers as always. Had the Yorkshire pudding appetizer, the filet mignon entree, and the dark chocolate gelato for dessert. Compliments to the kitchen everything was cooked perfectly. My server Janine is such a warm, kind person. I sat outside and everyone coming into the restaurant had to pass me to get to the host desk. Janine recognized every single "regular" going inside and stopped to ask them how they were, how their kids/grandkids are, about their summer vacations. Truly great "diner relations" on Janine's part. And I must also compliment GM Jeremy and Assistant Manager Tracy who stop by every table to make sure everyone is happy and enjoying their meals. It's this kind of personal attention that keeps me coming back to all the Bohlsen Restaurant Group joints: Prime, Tellers, and H2O; They truly appreciate and value their customers. We had a pleasant dinner with my sister and niece who are visiting. Three of our meals were very good as usual, but my sister’s scallops were undercooked. The waitress and manager were very accommodating, remaking the meal and then not even charging for it. Excellent service as usual!

I’ve eaten here many times and loved it. Last night it didn’t meet expectations. The server was very friendly but maybe just very busy. the drinks came well after the appetizer and the entree arrived way too soon. I ordered the sole muniere special and was very disappointed. It was very oily and over sauced. The fish itself was dry. It was $62 without any sides, which is fine but at least be yummy. The Brussels sprouts were good but again very oily. Maybe just a bad night? I will probably still come back because I love the shrimp and lobster wontons.

The food was absolutely amazing. Really fresh sushi and amazing food in general, didnt love the bacon in the clam chowder but everything else was outstanding. Our waitress was just VERY nasty and not attentive. She rolled her eyes when we were ordering and clearly didn’t want to be there.

We're here almost every Wednesday night for the wine dinner and we also enjoy the happy hour at the bar. You can't beat these deals and the food is always well prepared and served. The servers and the bartenders are great as well.

Food was delicious. Everyone at the table was very happy with their orders ( filet mignon, halibut, sushi, flounder and scallops). It was a little bit noisy so we were out in the back of the restaurant which made it nice. The waiter was very attentive until we got our food. Then it took a very long time to get the bill and pay him. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return.
