    Food was excellent. Food pricing was as expected. Alcoholic drink pricing is over the top. Seating proximity to door was not good based on temperature outside. The curtain across doorway did little to prevent constant cold drafts from coming in. Service was typical of most restaurants. Friendly and smiling. A bit forced; rather than genuine. No blame given. Staff are working for tips for sure. Would eat here again.

    We made a reservation for a standard table but the hostess/ lady who seated us informed us that another couple made the reservation 10 mins before us so we had to sit at the bar she was pretty abrupt and rude about it. However the bartender was a treat and she really made up for the crappy experience at the entry way. She also gave us meal recommendations and had a very positive and bubbly demeanour which made up for the less than stellar greeting we received. Food was good and worthwhile to go back.

    We are frequent customers and the last two times we have been there, our orders have been mixed up and the hamburgers were over cooked to the point that they were not juicy at all. Really disappointed and think we will try other places in the future.

    Since a good cheeseburger is my fav. food choice it will come as no surprise that I like this spot and I have been here many times (Anyone remember the Praise Cheesus Burger). It also helps that they have a very inventive menu when I bring friends. They come up with all kinds of ways to make a hamburger like pulled pork, or slaw on a hamburger (for example). The Original #Hamount is my choice and I like the $5 poutine side dish. My vegetarian wife can sub out the meat for a black bean patty at no extra charge (that's pretty cool). She enjoys it. Great selection of beers on tap. My friend can order a gluten-free beer. Something for everyone. Because it is pretty loud and lively in there, your conversation will have to be minimal. I have been at both locations and the upstairs of the Ottawa St location was quieter.

    We were ignored for the first 20 minutes after we were seated in the small dining room. After watching everyone else receive attentive service we finally we able to get the attention of a server. The food was good quality once we received it. The only person who gave adequate service was the bartender who brought my beer quickly. We asked for the manager (who had also walked by us while we were waiting, at least once) at the end of the meal and informed her that we were extremely disappointed with the substandard service, that no one had called her attention to, that after receiving this level of service we’re likely not be returning. All of the servers on duty walked by us, from 4:25 when we were seated by somebody, to 4:45 without a single one saying anything to us.

    We love this place. The service is a little slow to start but then once your served your good to go. Food is amazing and prices are reasonable for sure. You can really tell that the food is made in house not frozen and very creative burgers .. so good !! 2 favourite are chick fillet or the goodfella burger. We will continue to come back. Love this place.

    We had The revenge of the Devil; spacy but not overwhelming and sweet potato fries. Our server was Jordan and she was awesome; very attentive but not overbearing. Kept an eye on our table but did not disrupt our conversation, whoever hire her made a very good choice. We have been costumers at the Hamberg since they opened in 2014_2015? There was a period we did stop eating here as their quality of food had decreased, but we were very please on our last visit. The music is still too loud for us.

    Cauliflower and fried pickles appetizers were great. Portion size was larger than expected, even for sharing among 3 people. Burgers were great too. Biggest complaint was the add-on, plain fries; greasy and small bits of leftover potatoes. Might just have been the end of a batch but the sweet potato fries looked much better. Bugs were bad inside but it's that time of year; fruit flies in ended up in two of the glasses in the beer flight and we had to kill the wasp that kept circling around our table

    Great burgers and lots of options for toppings. The appetisers are very tasty, try the chicken and waffles or the bacon popcorn! The poutine is also excellent and a good upgrade for your side. We will be back!

    Food was over cooked and French fries were cold. Was not very happy with the meal. Limited supply of alcohol eg...no jack Daniel no crown royal. I'm tried of hearing short staffing issues. Please start paying people for what they are worth and you won't be short staff.

    Food=amazing Service=perfect But felt floor of restaurant was a bit dirty. I understand burgers are a bit messy, but when looking down, there was food smashed and smeared on the floor. Could use a person to just walk around and sweep up a bit after people leave. Even tables, chairs and menus were a bit sticky.
