As always, the food was perfection and the staff was professional, attentive (but not overly so) and friendly. Have never had a bad meal at Hamp & Harry’s. Kudos to the chef and the wait staff. Only “complaint” is that when I go, I am unable to have a cocktail. H&H still does not offer a potato vodka (like Chopin) for those who can not have wheat or corn…..or other grains. With a literal wall of alcoholic choices, it seems an oversight to not add one more bottle to cover all bases. I’ve been asking since they opened, to no avail. Their ginger ale is excellent, but I’d prefer have a good cocktail with friends after work.

Drinks were not made properly and were delivered after multiple inquiries; drinks were sent back and we were charged for both. A charge for truffle fries was charged even though the menu did not note it was an additional charge nor did the waiter make notice. Beyond the poor drinks and overall wait staff service being poor and slow the food was good. The manager did I make adjustments for the returned drinks and the secret truffle charges

We had a delicious meal at H and H. Best on the menu was mushroom risotto— wide variety of delicious mushrooms in a creamy risotto. Atmosphere was lovely. Give it a try!

I couldn’t rate the food because I left due to service. It was birthday and when I arrived the waiter was very nice. But when he left to go grab our drinks he never returned. He served popovers (bread with no middle just the outside of the bun with some type of cheese on outside) which was disappointing. The menu was scarce. I motioned and called for another server so that I could ask a question - he walked right past me twice. At that point I just got up and left. Very disappointing service and I wasn’t going to let it go further on my birthday.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a delicious dinner and drinks. We tried the salmon, mushroom risotto and tuna and all were delicious! The drinks were a little pricey , but good. A great addition to the square!

I've enjoyed this restaurant four times in the last five months. The food is always delicious and the service has always been great. It is a little loud for my taste, not so much that it keeps us from coming back.

This was the first time to this location. The food was wonderful and delicious drinks. I had a Cosmo to start as all the specialty drinks had liquor I'm not a fan of. Would like to see a few more of the speciality drinks with either, vodka, rum, or tequila. The bar is super cool looking. Spencer was our server and he was fabulous. Very attentive to our needs. I will definitely be back.

Bar service is horrible!!!!!!! Party of of 4, we arrived 15 minutes early were seated and ignored by staff for 15 plus minutes finally went to bar to order drinks and did and was told they would be delivered to table. One drink arrived one drink didn’t asked the waiter that finally showed up he said he he would check. Meanwhile other two arrived waiter did not notice when he came back he said my drink had been delivered to another table by mistake but did not have my drink. Took orders and 20 minutes later we all finally had our first drink. Bars lose lots of money on poor bar management as the markup is huge. Food was good came out fast and correct. I suggest you order two drinks to begin with if you want to enjoy a cocktail or two before dinner. This was our second time and had experienced bad var experience the first time.

I made a reservation on Open Table and selected standard seating as I can’t use bar seats due to a back injury. I want to flag that nearly every chair in the restaurant is a high top bar chair and even the booths have a high seat which could be challenging for many with mobility issues. This is a real miss. Our waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable about what was offered and had to run back and forth several times to ask simple questions. He was nice and accommodating but having been in hospitality I would have expected more at a restaurant at this price point. When it came to the food, there were some great items. The crab cake popover benedict was delicious and the home fries were great on my dish. The coffee was delicious but it would have been nice if there was a non-dairy milk option. The fruit cup was fresh and cold with a nice berry selection. Many other items were a miss. The omelet didn’t have the items incorporated into the egg, they were just stuffed inside which was strange. The sourdough side toast was oily and burnt. The home fries were inconsistent as they were crispy on my dish but oil bombs on my dining companion’s dish. And the crime brûlée French toast was gummy and way too sweet with just one slice for $20 which is obscene. Overall the menu was also confusing. None of the dishes indicated that they came with sides and we weren’t asked about that initially. Then all of our dishes came with sides when we had ordered additional sides. If the items weren’t so expensive I would have cared less about this. Our bill also initially had multiple duplicate charges. Thankfully I checked but it would have been nearly $50 more if I hadn’t verified. This place was a miss for me but really the most egregious for me was the seating not being accessible.

We had to wait over half hour for our reservation. We were hustled through our meal and in and out so quick and not enjoyable. That makes it tough to say a value when we were hurried, no apology for the long wait with a reservation and never asked if we wanted a second drink as we were so hurried, wish we didn’t get pushed out the door. Ahi tostada app is great and burger, risotto is forgettable and so is the service, from front end to server and the manager who walked all around us and never came to speak with us. Enjoy the birthday parties and let them stay as long ad possible, no need for us to come back.

First time dining and we will be back. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was the perfect balance of spiciness. Had some heat but it did not over power the tuna. The short rib dumplings were also delicious. Main entrees were well received by our table. The Ahi Tuna my mom said was wonderful, my daughter had the Salmon and thought it was delicious, my wife loved her Chicken & Dumplings and my Smash Burger was excellent. I had two incredible libations, the Rookie smoked and the Bamboo Grove. Both made very well and very tasty. Our server, Erin was also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Just want to point out to those complaining about sitting at tables with others. It is an unreasonable complaint. The tables two people are sat are pretty long and more than comfortable from what we could tell. This is not a romantic restaurant. If you are looking for privacy then find another place. This is, as they say, A Neighborhood Joint. It invites those that want a social experience. Its focus is the bar and that scene transcends into the dining space. Be open to it being louder and close. Enjoy being around people.

Dinner was wonderful. All the food was delicious and carefully prepared! Erin was super friendly and helpful explaining the menu and offering suggestions. This was our first time eating dinner there and we will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the service was awesome. However I guess they were having AC issues so it felt very much like a sauna. It was pretty noisy inside but that’s because it is a small space with a lot of people inside. We got sat at a high top table and the seats were not meant for tall nor “thick thigh” people. My husband is 6’6 and I think he would have preferred to stand because of how uncomfortable he is. I sat and I felt like I had no room to adjust. I would eat here again since everyone was so nice and the food was delicious. Just wouldn’t go back if it’s as hot as it was this past time.
