    10/10 everybody enjoyed themselves and the drinks were top tier! Our waiter Sunny i believe was his name was amazing he was very kind and our food came out quick…this was my second time dining at this location and i enjoyed myself and the food each time , will definitely be back again!

    Good food and a fun time. Our waitress was fantastic. I knocked back by 1 star as the hostess was very rude and ruined first impression. She started by telling me restaurant was full before I could tell her we had a reservation. She was clearly disappointed that we had a reservation and then wouldn’t acknowledge us. Confused on why she was so unfriendly as the hostess only has one role. Our waitress was super friendly and turned around our experience.

    Disappointed. I reserved a Thanksgiving dinner reservation in October. When we arrived (early), tbey were very busy as expected. The couple ahead of us in line to check in did not have a reservation and the hostess told them it was reservations only but “don’t tell anyone” and then seated them in the last table I could see that was open. When I checked in and was asked if I had a reservation m, which I replied yes, she said they were totally booked in the dining area and the only table was in the bar area. I said, but the people you just seated did not have a reservation and we should’ve had that table. she was rude about it and very short and basically gave us no choice, so that was disappointing. The pre made turkey dinner was awful. Seemed the food had been sitting all day and then quickly microwaved. I had 2 bites and that was it. My family did like their food as they ordered off the menu and I wish I had. If the staff had been friendlier it would’ve made the difference but I didn’t like the way we were treated.

    Everything good but we were crammed into a table behind a group of 8 people who were sitting all around thier table, even the corners. And by the bar . Even though we had a reservation it seemed like they just stuck us there because it was the easiest thing to do.

    Everyone likes food a different way, so consider that. The steaks were cooked to temp but the seasoning on the steak was beyond excessive that it was like a super salty steak. We mentioned it to the owner when he stopped to check and his response was to “just rub it off and it should be fine.” That’s not how that works. The waitress was apologetic and concerned, it wasn’t her fault. We didn’t get our appetizer we ordered they forgot about it. The bread and butter were the best part.

    Dear Guest, I am sorry you left unsatisfied when you dined at a very busy moment. I stopped by and checked because I want to ensure everyone is enjoying their meals and evening. You didn't receive your Jumbo Wild caught Shrimp and Crab CocktaiI because we were sold out. It can happen. Server should have notified you sooner. I recall you implying you didn't want a recook and steak was just "little" salty. It seemed like you were fine but only wanted to mention you felt steak was over seasoned. Since you didn't want a re-cook and replied all was ok. I discounted your steak $30 but never mentioned I was doing so. Perhaps you didn't notice on your bill. Sorry to not connect better to ensure you had a great experience at Harbor House

    FOOD WAS HOT, WELL SEASONED, AND DELICIOUS. PORTIONS ARE AMAZING. HAD ENOUGH TO BRING HOME FOR LATER. OUR WAITRESS WAS PHENOMENAL. SHE WAS ATTENTIVE, ENERGETIC, AND HAD A BEAUTIFUL VOICE WHEN SHE SANG A SOLO HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR DAUGHTER.

    Outstanding food and service from the Manager and Server. Very attentive. Price is fair compared to other restaurants in metro Detroit of this caliber food. Once they got busy it was very loud. Need some sound control to help keep that intimate feeling.

    My husband and I had an amazing meal at Harbor House… we were in from Chicago and tried it by chance and proximity to the theater. Kate, our server was absolutely wonderful, gave us great recommendations. Overall a fabulous experience and we will we back next time we’re in town!

    The gumbo and jambalaya are amazing. Crab legs are not worth the money, skinny little legs with barley any meat. Overall a great dinner for my birthday.

    The waiter Garry was great and the food was very good. It was my first time visiting the restaurant. We arrived 40mins before closing. All our food was fresh and hot. The gumbo was good. The fried mushrooms was good.  I got the platter, catfish(so fresh and good), loaded potato and Shrimp scampi was good. We were both were satisfied and full. We will go back again.

    Food was ok, the crab stuffing they use for a lot of their dishes needs to be cooked longer.. it had potential but it was kind of cold. The waiter was very nice, we was charged $20 gratuity for 2 ppl, I don’t think that’s fair because what do we tip the waiter if we wanted.. they also need to add seasoning to there food. It’s tasteless.. rating 6.4/10

    It was beyond cold in the dining room, the wait to get our food was a little annoying but overall the food was ok the gumbo tasted weird like it was out of the can .

    The waiter and waitress was wonderful but the food in every aspect was terrible. The crab legs were overcooked, dry and flavorless. The shrimp was rubbery and tasteless. The catfish and breading was tasteless as well and the mushrooms was totally undesirable. They gave you plenty of terrible food. How do there doors stay open with this type of food. It is over priced and terrible quality. I will not be back ever’ever ever!

    Great experience with a nice ambiance. We had the Greek flaming cheese that was fantastic. Also had the stuffed salmon and the NY strip. The salmon was excellent but the steak was average at best. Will definitely come back next time we are in town

    My husband really enjoyed the BE peas and collard green soup and his drinks from the bar. Our waitress was very attentive but not hovering. I had the Scottish salmon, which was overcooked. The broccoli was steamed to the right texture but could have used some butter, salt, and pepper. Overall, the meal was okay. But, with so many very good options in Detroit, we will try someplace different next time.

    This is really a great place to have dinner. The food is great the service is great and the menu is really amazing. If you are in Detroit, this is the place to go. I can not wait to go back. By the way the Gumbo is Killer !!

    Below average expierence. It was overpriced Applebee's food. Steak was fatty, salad was from a bag, fries were over cooked. Not a fine dining experience at all Waitress kept asking me to hand here dishes while I was eating. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not bad, but not great for the price. Won't be back.

    The ambience was nice. The server was very nice love the crabcake appetizer.  The entrée, however, was just OK. My friend had a steak it was cooked properly, but it was still kind of tough all in all food was just OK, but love the ambience in the environment.
