   Our server was super friendly and super helpful. We got the two for one fish and chips which was an awesome deal and perfect for lunch. The weather was lovely. The view is great I would highly recommend.

   Everything was perfect, the meal was delicious, but we were 3 older ladies & found ourselves surrounded by kids which were loud. It might be best to group families together in an area.

    Our group enjoyed a few different dishes. Among them were French onion soup, ribs, mussels, crispy chicken sandwich, Caesar salad and fish tacos. All were very well presented, tasty, and served fairly quickly. Top of the list are the mussels and the ribs. The mussels came piled in a bowl—enough for a meal for one. They were prepared in a white wine sauce that was lapped up with garlic toast. The ribs come in bbq sauce, dry rub, or honey garlic. They are a Monday to Thursday special—worth the trip for these alone! It is a full strip hanging over the ends of the plate, sitting on a bed of fries. Harbor House has many servers waiting to help you. They are very accommodating and well versed on the menu. Definitely will be back!

    The waitress was fantastic, unfortunately I ordered the ribs which they were out of,so I decided on Philly cheesesteak,they were also out of that too,so I had the shrimp tacos,unfortunately you can't order 3 different tacos,so I had 3 shrimp tacos, not good for a high end restaurant considering I spent $150

    We were seated on the patio and it was very cold. He said they would move us inside when tables became available tables became available, but they forgot to tell us, and so we sat outside freezing with my 84-year-old mother the waiter was great, and did his very best, we arrived at 6:30 PM and did not receive our main meal until 8:45. Not a very good experience unfortunately our main for not complicated salad and pasta not sure why it took over two hours to prepare.

    Service was very very slow because they were very busy. We did not get anything other than water for an hour. Because of the extended wait we were served a plate of 8 large shrimp and then some warm garlic bread knots. Both very good but dinner was so long in coming we lost our appetite. The music played was too loud and obnoxious. Not conducive to an enjoyable meal

    Beautiful atmosphere and ambience with surrounding windows overlooking the Detroit River. We dined inside as it was too chilly for the patio. This was Mother's Day, so it was busy. The service was excellent and our server was attentive. Our meals were good (I had the pistachio-crusted salmon...a little too sweet, but still delicious). We ordered calamari for starters which was also good although too salty. This was our first time here, and would return to try other parts of their menu, as they have specials every day of the week.     I was a little disapointed with the experience we had today. Our reservation was at 230 for 10 of us. Waitress took out drink orders and place was not that busy at that time of day, yet it took 15 minutes to get my beer. Most of the food trays were almost empty and what was left was almost cold. There no fried chicken and I went up twice for food and it was still empty. Nobody at my table of 10 had chicken at all. I expected to pay a higher price because it was a more up scale restaurant, you could have made sure the food was full. Then the waitress actually told us at 325 that we had to be gone by 330 because you guys were preparing for dinner guests. Was another surprise. But what tipped the iceburg was having our waitress tell us that it is your policy that any tables with more than 8 people must pay 18 percent tip. I was appauld at that. I paid her 38 dollars to bring 2 drinks and 2 pops. We got our own food. I brought my mom and my mother inlaw out for mothers day, i was hoping to show them good meal, but that did not happen.     Service was slow and the staff appeared disorganized. Asked the server about a canned beverage we experienced on cinqo de mayo and were advised it was not available and must have been promotional because it was a Mexican holiday. On our way out we noticed cans of the product on the bar and it was featured on a blackboard leading out to the patio.

    Wanted a patio table but it was a bit cool so the waitress seated us at a window table. Nice view. Special of the day were tacos and they were DELICIOUS. Looking forward to a return visit.

    Upon entering, noticed a storage area was wide open and messy and seemed to carry through to other areas as well. Dining area looked to be cramped. Tried to sit 5 of us for a table suited for 4 with the additional chair in the aisle. Moved us outside and the floor was filthy. The waiter had to look for us as he was not told that we were moved. Messed up on one order and expected her to accept with 25% off. Then her original order arrived 20 minutes later after we pretty much finished our meals. Not a good experience.

    First time at Harbour House, since it had changed from Lilly Kizzily. We were party of 6. The conversation between us was so good that we didn't realize our food took 1 1/2 to be served. Salad was brought out wayyyy after our meal was eaten plus we asked where the salad was?! Service was friendly but waitress seemed stressed and forgetful. Overall they did a nice job of cosmetically renovating the place. The menu price does not reflect the quality of the food, my opinion bit over priced. Great place for drinks and social but not if your craving a delicious savory meal!

    Suffered from extreme heartburn all that night!! Ordered same things as we had many times prior. Only thing we ate differently was the bisque soup?? Suspect some sort of fatty substance in it?? Very disappointed with this experience. ..

    This was a very disappointing experience! First off what is point of a reservation if you are seated 25 minutes after scheduled reservation? Should have been my first clue this would not end well. Then to get glass of water was 8 minutes , then another 8 to even get a drink order in so approx 20 minutes to even get an kind of waitress attention. When we were able to get order in for food 35 minutes after being seated it took 1 hr and 20 minutes when we final called a random waitress/person over to cancel whole food order because by now it was almost 830 pm at night …… 2 hours after we arrived for 630 pm reservation! Another table near by said they had waited over 2 hours for food as we were leaving and only 4 out of their 6 had there food. The drink I had was good and hubby’s initial drink was good but second drink he had gift was same kind was completely different and awful. We did get starter salad at approx 1hour after ordering food which was basically a boxed salad mix , with a plastic container of dressing, not good . It’s unfortunate because this location has such potential but if this continues I can see it going out of business with this type of service and lack of attention to quality. We Wouldn’t be back!!

    Service was terrible. We were seated promptly and that was the only good thing about the restaurant that night. We sat there for 15 minutes and no one approached us. We were starting to get up and leave when someone came to us and asked if we had been helped. This person was not our server. She apologized for the poor service and offered to get us a drink. While waiting for our drinks, our server came over and apologized for his lack of service but said they were really busy that night. They were busy as they had many large parties in there. I told him I could understand that but why take a reservation for two when they were already maxed out. Our drinks arrived and they were not what we ordered. We left and do not plan on returning.
