   In general, I really like Harold's - the food is very good! But the restaurant had no record of my OpenTable reservation (even though I had received a confirmation email), which was tiresome.

   My Dad introduced me to this place a few months ago. It's great food and service ☺️ We always have the same server and she knows us very well now as we are regulars now! I live in Victoria and we try go every time I'm out visiting ☺️

   We have a birthday lunch, the food was. Dry good , the service quick and polite. Seating was good and it was easy to carry on a conversation.

   This is a bar, not a restaurant. The Harolds Restaurant has not been open since before Covid, so they are seating guests in the bar. I made a reservation on Open Table (no mention of the restaurant closure) and when we arrived they had no record of the reservation. Annoying, but not a problem as there were lots of tables when we arrived. But as time when on, the restaurant/bar filled up and the noise level was to the point we could no longer hear each other. I think this group of seniors will have to find another place to meet for lunch, at least until the main dining room reopens, or the weather improves so we can eat out on the patio. The food was very good, but at hotel prices so expensive.

   The only improvement is that the reception area is too far from service station. Many times no one was at the reception to receive me for a very long time. It was frustrated when i had only one hour for lunch and I had to stand there for 10 minutes without being noticed Coffee is always fresh and hot, 👍

    We arrived in time for happy hour so had three appetizers and a salad. They split the salad for us and gave each of us a healthy portion. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive.

    Oatmeal was terrible sent it back. Ordered French toast which was better but cold. I spoke with waitress and she was great. Have to say it is the first time I have been disappointed with food at Harold’s, food has always been great.

    Great place for a business breakfast, or solo. Attentive and engaging service personnel, great (bottomless) coffee, and a surprisingly large omelette on the brekkie menu.

    Harold's is always the perfect place for a delicious meal and yummy drinks. The staff is exceptional and the safety procedures in place for Covid times is also really well done. Today was a full meal and dessert get-together and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Thanks for your continued perfection. <3

    My BLT Cheddar had NO cheese on it so that was disappointing. The server said he would talk to the kitchen and may adjust the bill. Unfortunately someone else paid so I don’t know if he did.

    Great service and server. Boneless pork and chicken wings were excellent appetizers. Fish and chips made with cod and big serving was so good and steak Sandwich was excellent.

    Restaurant not busy at all yet server was totally enapt and couldn't do his job properly. Food that we got, as half our order was forgotten, was quite good but appetizers never came and were simply dismissed as sorry I forgot. Too bad, been here often yet poor service is becoming common. Guess we will just have to rely on the good food and ignore the server if thats possible

    Delicious food. Great atmosphere, although the placement and size of the tv screens could be better. The booths are very comfortable and spacious. The attention to customers could be better. We waited at the front for approximately 7-10 minutes before anyone came to seat us. Despite the staff seeing us standing, waiting, multiple times, nobody came over. The restaurant was not at all busy. Maybe 20% or less of the tables were occupied. Our waiter was friendly.

    The place is spacious and cozy and we got booth seating, which was something we preferred. We ordered seafood linguini and honey garlic wings and they were consistently delicious. Eliab and the team are very friendly.

    We have been coming to this restaurant for a number of years and the reasons are as consistent as the restaurants quality. We have never had any issues with the entire experience. From the booking availability, parking, quantity and quality of the food etc. etc. I could go on and on, but would simply suggest that you put Harold's at the top of your list of places to try. Just went back after a Covid absence of at least 18 months and nothing has changed, except that the best ingredient of all is missing - Harold sadly passed away during 2020 and will be missed by so many people. RIP Harold and know that your legacy will carry on in the intentions of keeping this great eatery alive and thriving.

    Harold’s has a great outdoor patio or large inside dinning area at the Sheraton . The servers were great as she checked on us just the right intervals. Some food items were great BUT some were over cooked. High price for small quantity for their appies. Their $22 appie plater was okay but still a bit overpriced. Reg menu was quite limited. Drinks were overpriced - $9.50 for 20oz draft. 4 people only had light appies with 3 beers came to $160+$40 tips, which felt a bit much. Then all their patio heaters were out of propane except for one. Why have them??!! Overall 3 out of 5. Our group comes to Harold’s quite often before the COVID lock-down.

    Very nice enviroment. Staff were friendly. Lamd shank very tender and tasty. Alaskan black cod is my favorite. Tables were quite spaced out. We had a great time meeting up with friends. We stayed for almost 3 hours and still felt welcome.

    The food was amazing an tasted out of this world. The chicken wings were well done and tasted like a good wholesome BARBECUE at you our home. The BLT sandwich was delicious. I would defiantly come back and eat here again
