Welcome to Harry's!

Named for Harry C. Groome, the original owner of Airlie House, this signature smart casual Warrenton restaurant honors our agricultural heritage with true pasture-to-plate cuisine. Most ingredients travel just 400 yards from our production farm to our kitchen. And you get to savor these hyperlocal flavors in our cozy, winery-inspired dining room or al-fresco on our inviting lakeside patio.

House specialties include Harry’s Burger (made with our angus beef), smoke spiced wings, Airlie garden salad, and seasonal Flat Breads. Pair your favorite meal with a vast selection of mircobrews, Virginia wines or farm-to-table cocktails.

Please note, we do not accept reservations for our outdoor Patio. This is always on a first come first serve basis.

Took a chance that Sunday and we were celebrating my birthday and we weren’t disappointed food and service was great there was a wait but we didn’t mind. I was just glad that they were honest about it!

When searching for a nice place on Open Table, there was no mention (to my recollection) that this is the downstairs pub at Airlie House. A lovely place; though, a lot of open space ---- probably laid out for standing room only crowds. With a cold breeze blowing, the use of the center sliding doors for patio serving could have been avoided, as there were two other self-closing doors for entry/egress. Delightfully light onion ring appetizer.

We are new to the area and heard good things about Harry’s. It was a little confusing finding the restaurant on the grounds. The food was good and the service was excellent.

It is a small Tavern style restaurant within hotel Airlie. They are known for having local and farm fresh food. We enjoy going to this Tavern for the food and because it is more of a local quaint place. The times we have gone, the place was nice and quiet so you could have a nice conversation without the noise. They do have TVs for sports enthusiasts.

Food and service were good. Great burger and fries. Price is OK. Problem is this place is always deserted. Airlie resort and it’s amenities like Harry’s are so under marketed and I’m afraid it’s not going to survive. You’ve got to spend money to make money, and they simply do not invest in marketing this gem in our community. Sadly, the grounds are deteriorating and it appears they don’t have the funds to maintain the property appropriately. Walkways are crumbling, lighting is broken and insufficient. I hope they give this property some TLC and revive it.

Never disappointed when I have dined at Harry’s. It’s a really great place to experience even if you just want drinks or just to relax from a busy week. Food was great. Food was cooked as ordered. Good selection of wine too. Staff and service were perfect.
