Excellence in food, service and ambience. Heat lamps outside work well.
I’ve gone here a few times and the staff are usually pretty stressed out so I would guess they’re understaffed.
Great food and service. The music was a bit too loud to be able to have a nice conversation.
Brunch was delicious but cold and although there was a request for an item to be subbed because of allergy it was forgotten…that’s my only reason to not rate excellent across the board
First time here with friends visiting from out of province.Had a cozy , lovely warm visit at an outside table. So relaxed, great waitperson. She was very helpful to me as I sought out guidance with the menu due to food allergy.
I had the Beach Bowl which was wonderful. I would certainly recommend the salad although I found the squash a little too sweet. Nothing wrong with it, just not my favourite taste. The guys had the Cuban sandwiches with salad .
I’d love it if there was a dedicated fryer for fries. Gluten free options could be increased. I could eliminate gluten free elements in some of the dishes, but to me those components in the dish were what I really wanted to eat!!
Overall, a great experience. We will return!!
Great atmosphere and service. I think we enjoyed our dining experience more because we were sitting in a cozy corner booth than we would have if we'd been out on one of the small tables on the floor.
Great food and service! The ambiance is always awesome as well.
The outdoor patio - complete with heaters definitely in my top five favourites in Vancouver.
Best seat in the house!! We each tried a different brunch item with a few shared items! Never disappoints for flavors, portions, value and ambiance!!
Good service and ambiance, unfortunately all three dinners (tacos) were cold.
It felt like we were on a little mini vacation sitting on Havana’s heated patio. Wonderful Sunday afternoon .
Great place for brunch on the weekend. We’ll be back!
Amazing food and great service! Our server was so accommodating for our allergies!
Havana's has never failed. Always great service great food.
We came for happy hour and both the food and the drinks were quite wonderful. We had the ceviche and the mussels followed by a fabulous salad. A perfect combination. Drinks were also delicious - white wine for me and something more adventurous for my friend - and very reasonable. Service was excellent!
The patio was perfect. It is covered and heated and kept us warm and dry during the rain shower. The tacos and little Havana bowl are always favourites.
Great staff for my sons birthday treat! We always love the food and the service and the vibe 😊
Drag brunch was fantastic!
Amazing performances, amazing service, amazing food, amazing drinks
Outstanding food, ambience and service. Since it was the Halloween weekend they kept to theme in terms of cocktails, music and servers dressed up in costumes! Loved it!
Very pleasant and food was delicious.
I’ve been going for years, the vibes are always the moment.
Tried the heritage month menu and it was delicious. Grateful for the attentive waitstaff who helped us to move to a bigger table to accommodate for all of the food that we ordered. The sparkling sangria was our favourite drink of the night. Mussels and paella were delicious. Tacos were average. Decor was very fun. Environment was quite loud!
I love Havana. The Mussels Espana are to die for! My only complaint was the noise. The music was so loud and with the servers wearing masks (as they should be), it was so difficult to hear them. Difficult even to have a conversation acrossvv VGHthrctabke with my partner. I like a lively environment, but please down the music down a notch. Fantastic food though!
Loved it! Will come back for sure and check out the shows as well
Cassidy was the best!!! We had a group of 12 and she was phenomenal at remembering everyone’s names and adjusting all our bills. Havana has always been a great place, but she made the experience so much better!
Manager was over and above
This was my second time at the restaurant. The first was a walk in with my wife and three teenagers. It was a highly pleasant experience eating on the patio. This second I made a reservation which was quick and easily done online. It was for business with a colleague. Everything went great. I don't hesitate referring this restaurant to friends and family.
Service and atmosphere were great! Portion size was a little small. My friend and I got the same side and hers was significantly more. Wasn’t the best Cuban I’ve had but it was tasty. Cocktail was great but came out after the food. Incredible patio. Can’t wait to sit out there this winter snd try more menu items.
Havana is my go to spot especially for Mojito Mondays lol . The food is always amazing and our waitress was the icing on the cake !
Came to see Simon King at the Havana and had dinner beforehand. All round a nice evening with friends. Would appreciate a wider range on the menu.
My family gathered here for our Thanksgiving weekend get together. We were given a booth that enabled us to enjoy a cozy time together even though the place was hopping! All of us enjoyed the food and the service was prompt and friendly.
I love almost everything about Havana, but the service isn’t good at all, and it’s the same way most of the time I went there.
Yesterday I needed to call the server all the time, she never came to check on us, and when my friend arrived, she did not come to say hi or check if he needed anything, I needed again to call her and ask to help him.
Great staff, good drinks, the food is very very basic
Great experience! Music could be a bit quieter. Felt like I had to compete to be heard.
Great character, lively room . Our group sitting at back was served by bartender who was busy so service was a bit lacking. ,, but Margaritas were delicious.
Fantastic staff and even better food!
Great ambiance, great service and food was yummy. I had the mussels and they were superb…spicy, with Chorizo. Tacos were good, although a bit dry with out any salsas to top with. Was a really fun place to go.
The smell when I walked in was amazing! I wanted everything on the menu. Delicious cocktails. Hard to decide on what to get by ended up with the Beach Bowl and added the tender, juicy shrimp. My friend had the avocado tacos and fries. Yummy, crunchy perfectly cooked fries!
Can't wait to return!
New server learning the ropes. Good and drink service was slow.
