   Wonderful food, and wonderful service ! We were seated in the back patio which was very sweet, shaded from harsh sun but still well lit. The courses were amazing, spaced out very well and the cocktails were unique and very good. I really loved the roti, and the dessert was perfect. Beautiful experience !

   We had a problem at the restaurant and the staff made no effort to help. We had booked to sit at the counter but they changed our reservation and made no effort to apologise / accommodate us / reflect the change in our bill. The food was really good but the lack of service was really disappointing.

   Lovely back patio, perfect for an intimate cozy social gathering! Fit our party of 8 really well and had just the right vibe for bday catch ups and good eats. Really fun shareable plates- too delish but portions so small you would need 1 per 3 ppl so would be good to let guests know to dbl up :) Next time I’m ordering 3 plates for just me.    Elevated, creative, and unique vegan dining experience. The small plates are packed with flavour. 5 plates with a couple extra roti on the side for 2 of us was satisfying. The back patio is a must on a nice evening.

   There was a strong smell of grease/smoke when we entered the restaurant, which was not appealing. In addition, their DineSafe sign in the window indicated a "conditional pass," but upon searching online, their most recent inspection was a "pass," so we wondered why they haven't updated their sign. Their isn't really any decor to speak of, and the place looked a bit shabby, so we didn't have high hopes for the food. We were pleasantly surprised to be served four really delicious dishes and a great cocktail. The sunchoke cracker dish was so good, we ordered a second one. Most of the menu is gluten free, and they were able to provide alternatives for the gluten-containing roti that came with one of the dishes. We found that the servings were a little small, enough for the "small plates" concept. Dessert was also delicious. The food is definitely the best part of this restaurant. Even though the place was not full, the servers seemed to be having a hard time keeping up. We were never given a chance to order a second drink (which we would have done), and after we finished our main dishes, we sat for about 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. We finally stopped one of the servers as she hurried past to ask if we could order dessert. If you're looking for some great vegan food, I'd recommend trying this place, but if you want great service and ambience, then perhaps another one of the city's higher-end vegan restaurants would be a better choice.

    Good blend of flavors, unique concept of bringing in food items one after another to ensure your palette is balanced. They have experimented with different flavors and textures. Can be a fun experience. Service could be a bit faster and better .

    We were there for my wife’s birthday. The portions are extremely small and extremely overpriced. There isn’t much of a food on each plates and whatever is on plate is pretty basic. It doesn’t wow you with flavour or creativity. I would avoid this place as it’s boarder line scam.

    Food well worth going back for. Every dish was well balanced, creative and delicious. Service was attentive, friendly and authentic. A little quiet on the Wednesday evening we went, but that was the only minor negative amongst the greatness of everything else.

    Truly outstanding! My first 5 star experience at any vegan restaurant in the city. Just incredible well thought out food and menus, delicious small plates so you can try a bit of everything. Really lovely service and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The chef table experience is definitely worth another visit. Also, the cocktails were 10/10.

    Food was incredibly good and a great amount of food for the prices! The dishes are also very picture and well plated. Long time that I didn’t try such good plant based dishes like these ones! The dessert was just incredibly tasty! About the - not good - service: Servers didn’t have great knowledge about the dishes, I have an allergy and that was informed to the first server, when other different servers came to bring food, didn’t let me know what I was suppose to avoid (the other person was ok to eat it). We had hard time getting the server to talk to us when we needed something. I really didn’t like the service. Only one gentleman was good, apparently he knows a lot more, perhaps he is the manager.

    Good and creative food! We went for the brunch portion and most things were really delicious, particularly the biryani and saffron ice cream. We had hoped for a bit more spice given the cuisine(s) but that’s also just our taste 😉 Overall really enjoyed Hawker and was impressed with the creativity.

    Had the prie fixe brunch, which was fantastic. Loved the use of New World ingredients to enhance South Asian cuisine. Total experience took 90 minutes, with great portions, no too spicy - we were both full.

    As we attended with a group of 3 we expected the portions to be a bit larger for the shared brunch. We left feeling somewhat satisfied but also a bit hungry still. If you are going to service family style make sure you increase portions when it’s not just 1 person. We saw 1 person next to us get the same portions of all dishes and we had to split that between 3 people. The atmosphere and service was great, the space is a bit small but was a nice change from larger spaces. Tipping expectations were too high, no need to have a 30% tipping option on your screen. Was a nice one time experience but won’t go back. Would suggest either increasing portions or reducing prices per person if more then 1 person attends.

    Loved Hawker! I went to have dinner on the day of my birthday and they made it special for me. Really enjoyed their food and the ambience is so relaxing. Also I liked that it is cozy as it gives it a more private experience and you’re able to enjoy the food and company peacefully. The presentation of the food is artistic and looks, smells and tastes amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves vegan food.

    Highly recommended experience. We came for brunch and enjoyed everything from the kindness of staff, to the incredible meal. It makes an impression when there is heart put into making the meal and sharing it with others, that was truly demonstrated in our visit. Great soundtrack too! Will be back.
