My wife and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary and enjoyed outstanding food and service at one of our favorite restaurants. Our server was one of tghe best we have had anywhere!

Hawks staff and kitchen haven't lost a step from the Covid challenges in the last year. We called to notify them of our arrival and we were seated quickly once we entered, at a table we prefer. All staff wore masks, as did guests when they entered. All guests removed their masks once seated. Tables were also well distanced. We were given disposable menus and our server Garron greated us quickly. He was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, wishing us Happy Anniversary several times. Since we were celebrating,, we brought our own special wine and Garson graciously opened it and kept our glasses topped. We split a Caesar salad and both ordered the Dungeness Crab house-made tagliarini with lemon cream sauce. It was the usual delightful evening at Hawks and we were so happy to be able to return to experience their excellent food and service.

The usual great service, selections and meals. Only blip was the cocktails...both mine and my wife's seemed watery and not up to the usual potent taste and quality. All else was excellent. The atmosphere was a little 'quieter than usual, no doubt due to seating restrictions, etc. from the pandemic.

Honestly, we were a bit bored. The menu hasn’t changed in quite a while. The service was fine but not excellent. We used to really enjoy a special meal, but with nothing new it was a bit of the same. Maybe things have changed after COVID but we haven’t been back since then.

What a nice treat to come back to Hawks. You do not disappoint! Our waitress was wonderful. Courteous and knowledgeable I ordered one of my favorite items and it was so yummy We arrived early and it was quiet, but by 6 it was definitely getting nosier as more people arrived. We will return soon

We had terrific octopus and charcuterie board, followed by lovely short ribs and filet. Desserts were beignets with caramel sauce and pecan tart with salted caramel around it. Even the grilled Acme bread was great!

As always our outing to Hawks was everything we've come to expect. And I must say it has been far too long since we've been able to enjoy an evening out as we did for Larry's birthday on the 5th of March. Slow roasted short rib for hubby and delicious Steelhead for me followed our perfectly prepared mussels. Drinks and service were wonderful. Jessie, Tony and the rest of the staff made our Anniversary dinner extra special! It was our first visit to Hawks, but recognized quickly that we had found our go-to restaurant for years to come! The food and drinks were outstanding! I had the short ribs and mussels, my wife the filet. Simply perfect!
