   The French Dip and Open Margarita Pizza with salad in the middle hit the spot. And the chocolate cake with sauce and ice cream is heavenly!

   We went for a late lunch so not as many people which was nice. We enjoyed the food - tuna melt was delicious, fish and chips too. Next time we’ll try to get outside as the AC was on and keeping the place on the cold side. Overall good, we’ll go again since the place is easy to get to with underground parking - very convenient.

   Disappointed in meal this time. Service was mediocre at best. Special Mothers Day inspired dinners were nothing but the normal menu. Messed up 2 of the 5 meals. 3 were halfway done eating before the other two meals arrived. 3 stars is generous.

    Perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. Extensive menu, delicious fresh food, accommodating wait staff, convenient location. Parking is scarce at peak times and noise level can be a challenge, but other than that -- it's a 5 star choice.

    I liked everything about this restaurant except the noise level. The music was way too loud and the choice seemed inappropriate for the sophisticated decor. It was impossible to have a conversation which was the main reason for meeting there. The food was so good that this was the first time in years of eating out that I actually ate the portion I brought home with me! Unfortunately, my group will probably not meet there again because of the noise.

    Been here regularly. Maybe it was just the day but we thought there was a noticeable decline in the food. The service was mediocre too so we were disappointed for the first time.

    Very nice, getting together with kids and spouses before a show, got a nice more secluded booth which allowed us to visit more quietly which was great as grand baby is getting close. Everyone liked their food choices and our server was very attentive and checked on us just right, did not feel rushed.Thanks

    The space just feels very crowded, how the tables/booths are set up. Very loud and busy on a Thursday evening. Food was OK, not fabulous. I had the rotisserie chicken - nothing to write home about, and a little too salty. A friend got the turkey avocado sandwich also was underwhelmed by the rotisserie turkey on it.

    I have eaten at Hazelwood several times--uniformly good, consistent food and service. Tonight, the service was slow; no one approached our table for over 10 minutes. The server was good after that, but clearly not interested in more than basic service. This was in marked contrast to other evenings spent at Hazelwood.

    This was a first time try and see. Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant was upscale but not fine dining. We sat outside and for one of the first days of warm spring it was good. Outside patio is overlooking Excelsior Avenue but still fun. My Daughter's salad was very good and my fish and chips were fresh and hot. No Complaints.

    I arrived at noon. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take a drink order. Another 15 minutes to place a food order. Then waited 30 minutes for my salad. The server was working hard, but they need more help.

    Outstanding from start to finish. We were celebrating an important birthday for my wife’s mother. We noted it in the reservation as I have done many times before at many different restaurants, but this time it was different….someone acknowledged. Hazelwood gets 5-star rating. The receptionist welcomed my mother-in-law with Happy Birthday greeting, the server came to table with a welcome greeting and as we exited they again wished her a Happy Birthday. This is how it is done! Kudoo’s to the Hazelwood team! The Resturant should be proud of its staff and team. Well done. We will be back soon. Thank you for making her night special.

    Food was just OK. Our waitress, Maddie, was completely uninterested and almost annoyed by any requests we made. Never came by to check on us or refill our beverages. Had to go find her. Forgot to put in a kids order but said she did. Child’s food was the last one to be served Worst service at Hazelwood we’ve ever experienced. Would normally recommend unless this waitress is still on duty or unless she is supervised and trained better.
