   We LOVE Hearth! It is such a special place. We are so happy we got to be a part of their last dinner service at the original Melrose location and looking forward to the new space at Remai Modern.

   My brother, daughter and I ate one last meal at Hearth before its move from Melrose to the Remai. I love the ambience on Melrose and hope the Remai will be as cozy and welcoming. The food and service were as good as always. We always order the mushrooms and the fish fry as appetizers and then choose an entree. My daughter and I had the current trout entree, which was on a bed of grains with pickled green beans and almond crema, and my brother had a pasta. The pickled beans complemented the trout extremely well.

   Hearth is always outstanding 10/10. On this visit we had corpse reviver and pondicherry fizz while we waited at the bar which were absolutely delicious as usual. We followed this with a fish fry and ploughman snack both reminiscent of homemade and world class quality at the same time. They surprised us with the beet dish which was the most insane combination of texture and flavour. By the time our mains of vodka penne and spicy perogy past arrived we were stuffed so we had a few bites and took home the rest as well as a haskap apple pie to go. Their pastas and pies are also absolute perfection. This was our last visit to this location and while we wish them the best, we will miss having them only a few houses away. This is still the best restaurant in the province for sure hands down.

   The food is outstanding! So delicious and done to perfection! Our waitress seemed to be distracted or maybe just having an off day. Their staff is very attentive to details especially to their customers, we felt our waitress was far from that! That will not stop us from returning because the quality in food is amazing! We left very full with only appetizers and our main! And leftovers for our lunch the next day!

    Hearth is always amazing 10/10. We shared a few cocktails and appis this night and as well they surprised us with some beautiful desserts to go and a small cheddar donut hole with a deliciously crisp chutney. We also shared the bison tartare, the ploughman snack and gorgeous handmade squash lasagna with both bechemal and tomato sauce. This is the best restaurant in the province hands down. They have delicious high quality food with zero pretentiousness. A rare gem.

    We very much enjoyed our visit to your restaurant. The one thing my wife and I were not impressed with was the seating arrangement. I know it’s difficult to set up in what was formally a bar. We were seated right up against a wall and the table next to us was very close - no room for private conversation. The food was very good and I would have given a 4.5 as there is always room for improvement. Service was excellent.

    Mushroom appy was fabulous as was beef and pork belly. Great cocktail menu with interesting ingredients. Salted caramel chocolate tart and sticky toffee pudding were to die for. A great locally owned restaurant.

    Only issue I had was the tasting menu was not permitted without full table participation. It does say this on the menu on site but it is not noted on the on line menu. The mushroom appetizer is amazing.

    Hearth is always 10/10 best in town farm/forest to table food. Moving to the Remai is an amazing opportunity for them but a huge loss to the Avalon neighbourhood. As a local regular I will miss them dearly but wish them all the best!

    Hearth was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted by our server, Brayden, and brought drinks and toys the specials right away. We started with the Beets and mushrooms as appetizers (highly recommend both!) And had the beef and pork for our mains. The service mailed top notch throughout and the ambiance was nice. Although the restaurant is very open, the noise level was nice and still felt intimate. The show stopper for me was the sticky toffee pudding, hands down the best dessert I've ever had. Overall I am so happy to of finally visited Hearth and would recommend for everyone to try it out! Absolutely flawless

    THE BEST RESTAURANT IN SASKATOON and that's a great thing to say because there are so many good ones! We had the mushroom and ploughmans snack to start, both were delicious. I had a pasta special that was the best thing I've honestly ever ate and my husband had the beef- all he did all night was talk about the potatoes! Can't wait to go back!

    4 friends went to Hearth to have supper - each had different drinks and entrees. All were pleased. Our server realized that we were marking our friend's birthday and brought some truffles as a "gift." Attention to customers and food is the best reason to go to Hearth.

    Was the best food I have ever tasted, I had the beef, my wife had the trout, and my daughter had the spicy perogies. We started with the mushroom dip. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Well worth the money.
