Excellent food, above pay grade. Great place.
Great little restaurant with farm to table food. Flavours are interesting and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend
Loved it, again! Our second time there and equally as wonderful as the first time! Will be back!
Service phenomenal, food wonderful. First time ever my friend cleared her plate (even her brussel sprouts !!! and she hates veggies)! Thanks for another wonderful night out.
Best restaurant in Saskatoon! I highly recommend it!
Went here with a group of friends. We all had a great meal though I was envious of my neighbours two appetizers of mushrooms and fish and must go back again to try that.
Mother’s Day brunch. Great service great food!
Will be back for sure! We did brunch for Mother's day. It was a small menu, but they work with local fresh ingredients so understandable and theres less waste that way. The service was excellent and the pricepoint for what the value youre getting is very affordable! The restaurant is quaint and beautiful.
A superb dining experience! Delicious meal prepared with with fresh ingredients. Creative Appetizers and Main Dishes as well as interesting cocktails.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
We had a great time at Hearth the other night. The service was great, as well as the food. I would definitely recommend Hearth.
Good was excellent - definitely local flare, delicious and portion sizes are generous for the price point. Our server was very friendly and attentive. A new favourite restaurant in yxe
We had heard such wonderful comments about the mushroom and cheese appy
It needs more mushrooms to balance the sauce
Have you considered a different presentation of the liver and onions
Your food is creative but we think you need to make sure that the flavours don’t overpower one another
Great food, service, and best value I have had in a long time.
Excellent dinner and service. Thank you for a lovely experience.
This was my first time at Hearth and it surpassed my expectations. Great ambiance, great service and great food! The menu wasn't extensive but something for everyone and the gnocchi was delicious. Look forward to going back.
I love the food at Hearth! The trout entree is amazing! I also love the quaint setting - and the location. The only problem is the noise level... it gets very busy and when I was there last week - they must have been a rowdy bunch - as it was deafening, for a while! We were there for the early “sitting” and it was okay for the first while. My dinners out are always about visiting with friends when I am in the city... so a quieter environment really matters to me!
Really enjoyed our first visit to Hearth - we will definitely be back!
Hearth is my favourite restaurant in Saskatoon. Fresh, original, delicious food!
Really great place! Scrumptious eats served on your mom’s best china. Can’t wait to go back!
Very friendly staff-allergy aware
We love this addition to our neighborhood! The food, service, and ambiance are always excellent.
Hearth was DELICIOUS! We had two fantastic appetizers (mushrooms and cheese on toast; perogies) followed by a delicious gnocchi. The gnocchi were perfect, they were tender and light but had been fried to they were just a little crispy on the outside. The cherry sorbet for dessert was delicious.
We had a bottle of wine plus one extra glass each and the meal (2 apps, 2 entrees, wine + dessert) was $170. The meal was well worth it and at/above the quality of other special restaurants in the city (Calories/the Hollows).
We will absolutely be going back.
Staff was delightful! Food soooooooo good. The mushroom appetizer is simply delicious!
Very limited menu, but appreciate that food is locally sourced. Turned a dive bar into a small, classy place to dine!
Gotta love Saskatoon. These folks understand great service...our greeter and our server were real pros.
Compact menu for both food and wine. Unpretentious.
A nice inviting room next to a church outside the core.
The fish fry was perfectly cooked, the tails were whimsical and yummy.
Mushroom appy was more like a cheese fondue, a good one, could use more mushrooms or less cheese... or a name change.
Steelhead was a winner. Crispy skin, delicate flesh on a bit of potato hash(un-browned) and pea shoots. Good.
I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. I’ll bet this place kills when local produce is in season...Another good addition to the new food scene here in YXE.
Wonderful service and great food!
Good food service was good over all great place. Noise is high smaller space and open kitchen so it not for those looking for something quite
The food, atmosphere, and service were impeccable. The prices were a bit on the high side, especially for the drinks and appetizers, but at the same time, still on par with other fine dining establishments in the city. I would highly recommend Hearth for a unique and local dining experience.
Celebrating a retirement
While the menu is limited, there is something for everyone. The mushroom appetizer was outstanding, the fish entree very good, the sticky pudding excellent d the Chilean wine superb. We have not had better service anywhere in Saskatoon. Being net and ushered to our reserved table by the owner was lovely. She exudes warmth and pride in her restaurant. The only negative comment would be that the tables are too close together to have an intimate conversation. Therefore the noise level is very high.
Good food, good service, fish was delicious
The food was amazing. Fresh, interesting and totally tasty. Highly recommended.
The food is amazing! There were two people in our party who had never been to Hearth before, and they couldn’t help but rave about it. It was a busy night and we had to wait awhile for our reserved table to be ready, but we didn’t mind a bit because the staff went out of their way to make our wait enjoyable. The service, as always, was impeccable. 10/10 would recommend, and will visit again!
We had been waiting to try Hearth for a while, it was hard to get a table when they were new, and it wasn't a lot easier as time went on! Now we know why. It was delicious, and lovely inside - 10 out of 10 for atmosphere!!!! (lighting YAY!!!) lots of the new places have crazy bad lighting. The service was wonderful. Unfortunately, 2 of us were "no fish at all" peeps - so we can't comment on their most popular dishes... We ordered a few appetizers; the sweet potato (with carrots?) sounded weird, but was amazing! We tried the mushroom cheese thingy too - it was decadent. The gnocchi was amazing as a main; but the polenta we tried was just okay. i'd never order it again. We tried dessert - cuz - why not!? Get the sticky toffee pudding !!!!! One of the best out there. We also tried the hazelnut caramel cheesecake (was it cheesecake?) the Toffee pudding was terrific; the hazelnut caramel - no. If Hearth would open a nice Sauvignon Blanc, and a nice dry red by the glass - we would've ordered them!!! They seem to love their Spain and Chilean wines, maybe at the expense of a really awesome wine list... Our wish - more choices in wine to go with your amazing food please!!!!!!
Wonderful fresh and local food, beautifully prepared and presented!
Lovely service and delicious food. It was my second time there and I'll go again!
Amazing service coupled with amazing food and very well made cocktails! Made for a perfect date night!
Food was excellent! I recommend the mushroom appetizer - it's rich and larger than it looks so good to share (and order the extra bread, you'll need it!). There seemed to be some problem in the kitchen and the food took a while (general table service was fine), but we weren't in a rush so it was OK - I got the impression that this was not usual.
Loved it all.
Always exceptional food and service!
