   The kids meal was great glad we were able to eat some of it as our dinner was over priced over cooked. The restaurant was so hot they had technical support trying to fix the problem no discounts were offered, The service was lacking under staffed, wait times were long for our pice of shoe leather, that was order medium rare. Not up to Jasper standards.

   Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The food was good, nothing out of the ordinary. There was a bit of a challenge with my cocktail - a misunderstanding of what I ordered led to a lot of questions that were for the wrong cocktail. The bar was out of Chambord when they went to make it for the second time and thus, had to order a different beverage after all that. The cocktail made it to the table just before our meals arrived.

   We booked for a nice family Christmas dinner but we're seated beside the pool, smelling like chlorine with screaming kids and adults. Server barely understood English and communication was difficult. Soup was cold. 2 of us had turkey but one plate was half as much Turkey as the other. 2 2 of us had the ribeye which was fantastic. Overall spending $250 to eat dinner at a swimming pool is ridiculous!

    Half our food was good the other half bad, took a long time and 4th person did not get their food until first 3 were almost finished. Server was apologetic it took so long for all the food in the first place, but did not check back once after we had food or realize how much longer it took for the 4th persons food to arrive. Defiantly need more training.

    Upon arriving, we were seated at our table and it took quite a while for someone to come and take our drink order so by the time they did we ordered all of our items for fear it was going to take too long again. Once we started receiving our order the service got better. It is not a large restaurant and there were 3 staff on. I do have to say that during our meal the staff was quite attentive. The food was good. We ordered the Pursuit bottle of red and it was quite nice. Overall not a bad experience. Would I go again - YES!

    Inexperienced waiter, though staff was nice, just very awkward and abrupt for each exchange. This was for Thanksgiving. The food lacked flavour and was not hot. Seemed pre-prepared and warmed from cold. Restaurant had fan noise but no music. Drink menu was for summer and they offered boozy lemonades and sangria pitchers for Thanksgiving. I decided on a fancy cocktail and they mentioned some ingredients were missing, they offered a substitution but it didn’t translate well. Ended up being just whiskey with a big cube and an orange with some sludge in the bottom of the glass. Other places had been sold out for reservations so we were glad to find a place that would take us but I wouldn’t go back.

    Arrived couple minutes before our reservation. Took over 20minutes to acknowledge anyone in the queue waiting. Lots of people left while having to wait. Once we were finally seated 30 minutes after our reservation time no one came to take our drink order and the pizzas were so gigantic we decided to leave and go into town. Wouldn’t recommend, much better service and prices in Jasper town.

    Food was OK but quite expensive. Service was poor, dirty plates not collected before next course being delivered etc. We were told at 8.45 p.m. that we had our last opportunity to order any more food as the kitchen was closing.

    This lounge was very good! We had the brisquet which was amazing!! And their poutine was quite good, we shared it. Our server Casey was very polite and informative of the menu for food and drinks. He gave a couple nice tips what to see in the area!! Will definately go again!!!

    I am struggling to recall a worse experience that that at Hearthstone. Service was chaotic throughout. It took 30 minutes for the wrong drinks to arrive. One waiter was working his socks off and the drinks waitress not far behind but other staff just stood chatting to each other and hotel manager who wandered in clearly thought getting things under control was no part of their job. We were clearly not alone as a neighbouring table was equally vocal in the complaints.

    We had an enjoyable dinner here. The food was good and plentiful. Sydney was our server, she was very cheerful, friendly and professional. It was a nice experience after daylong travels.

    This is a nice lounge within the Forrest Park Hotel. It has some Gluten free options but not a whole lot, however what it does have is well done. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. For a tasty quick meal i would recommend this venue

    Service was absolutely terrible. We waited 30 minutes without service. People at surrounding tables received water and attention. We had to go to the bar and request service. TWO guys just gossiped with one another and ignored us. A waitress finally stopped by and asked if we would like water even though servers went to the other tables with water in hand.. strange and abominable to say the least. Finally we placed a drink order and food order and received our food without too much delay. My bison burger was supposed to include fries or salad but I wasn't asked which I would prefer so received neither. Bison burger tasted like cardboard. We had dinner there a few years ago and service and food were great. This was an abomination. I will Never go there again. NEVER NEVER NEVER.

    Service was great from the greeting, through the meal, and after. The meal was good but not anything special. I had the brisket which was a little on the dry side but still tasty. My wife had the fish and chips and she enjoyed them. The wine and beverage choices were similar to other restaurants in Jasper. In all it was a nice evening.

    I had a reservation on Saturday, May 7th. When we arrived, we discovered that the restaurant was closed for a private event. It would have been nice to know this in advance before we made our reservation. Really disappointing.

    Located inside the new Forest Park Hotel (formerly Sawridge Inn). Other than the great service we received from Marilou, we were very disappointed with the food. Considering this was a hotel where many families with young kids stay cause of the indoor pool, the restaurant didn’t have good choices for kids menu. Suggestion to maybe add spaghetti or Mac and cheese. We also weren’t impressed with the dishes we ordered: they were way too oily and flavourless. Even the wedge salad dressing and the extra “boar bacon” we ordered were disappointing. Too bad as a good restaurant in this hotel would make it easier for families with kids.

    We had duck wings for app. They were pretty good. But fyi. It’s duck legs. The smoked chicken was SO dry I could hardly get it down. And ordered extra bbq sauce to finish the meal. The flavour was that of the bold sauce and that’s it. We weren’t offered any options after our complaints.

    We had the Canyon Pizza. Menu said Chipotle Crust.. while the pizza was good the crust was so spicy it burnt our lips. The server said there were habaneros in the crust. This should be noted on the menu. One of my guests had to ask for a glass of milk.

    The service was slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. The Fonduta appetizer lacked flavour and the chips seemed stale. The pizzas are falsely advertised as deep dish although the taste was okay and they were a good size.
