Great ambiance. Nice to have so many different rooms to enjoy... booths with lots of light, tables that were a bit more intimate, bar area, patio area, and a couple of other dining areas, each with their unique charm. Prices were very reasonable for the standard of the surroundings and the service was good. The only drawback was they don't seem to celebrate special occasions the way that almost every other restaurant does, which is a bit disappointing.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant we knew it was going to be an excellent experience. The hostess who sat us was very friendly. We got there early for our reservation and were accommodated right away. Our server Grant was pleasant and knowledgeable and very engaging. He was helpful with our menu choices but not overbearing at all. The food was absolutely outstanding and extremely flavourful, and well balanced. The wine was also incredible (Cab Sauv Windstorm from Sonoma California). It was nice to see management there encouraging his servers and communicating on a subtle level to keep things running well. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to our friends and family. The dishes we had were: apps - Burata salad and Arancini, mains - Guanciale Rigatoni and prawns/scallops, and desserts - Banana toffee pudding cake and tiramisu. (It was my husband and I). The atmosphere was clean and bright, very warm and inviting and was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

Celebrate our girlfriend 65th birthday. Food was excellent and atmosphere was great, group of 5 and could talk and had lots of time to visit. Service was excellent. I was excited to go as I had worked there in the 80's when it was Victoria and Grey. The bank value is now kitchen.

Richard was friendly and helpful, willing to show us around and tell us about their wine club options. The décor is amazing. And this restaurant has the nicest table settings I've ever seen. Not the typical "mass out of a box" utility stuff used by other places. The music was too loud for a romantic dinner with quiet conversation. The food was mediocre, especially considering how expensive the restaurant is. It was just garlicky and oily. Food was not cooked properly. Our server didn't tell us about the specials and, after asking us if we were celebrating anything, talked more about her parents' anniversary that we wanted to hear about.

My husband and I both enjoyed our meals and the overall experience. I had the Caesar Salad and Mushroom Risotto. Both were excellent. There is a good selection of international wines by the glass and bottle.

We were sat at the far end of the restaurant overlooking Wellington St. The room was beautifully decorated, the waitress was excellent and the food amazing. The only things that kind of ruined the ambiance were 2 things: The Air-conditioning unit was loud no to mention freezing, and the choice of teckno-beet music was very distracting and annoying, which took away from the ambiance. Other than these small things, we had a vey enjoyable evening and would return.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food! The service was superb, and the cocktails were sublime. Only gave four stars for value because it is an expensive restaurant, but we knew that before hand. The ambience, food, and service make everything well worth an expensive night out. It will definitely be the first of many nights for us at this wonderful Kingston restaurant.

First impression was the decor. Very chic, contemporary and comfortable. The 'redo' of the building is outstanding. The staff were cheerful and very efficient. The menu is great and our choices were delicious.

Food and service good and pleasant, but why create something so lovely with no regard for sound pollution. When I can’t hear the person I am dining with, it detracts from all the positives. Surely this problem can be remedied?! I could only recommend with a warning. It takes away from the concept of fine dining when such a lovely venue does not lend itself to relaxed stress-free conversation.
