   It was my 2nd time coming here. A lot changed since 2018 (including the physical space) and though the decor is beautiful to look at AND the staff team is absolutely excellent… the truth is it is a lot more “fussy” this time around than when they first opened—with far less consistent results in terms of actual food and drink. Our party did the tasting menu ($150 per person before tax and tip) and it was wildly inconsistent. The first dish of snow crab and the incredible bread/butter service were kinda the highlight, unfortunately. The entrees (starters) were decent if unusual… esp. the plating! We were a party of three and one of us got a single portion dish and the other two in our party had to share a plate. Not once but a few times!! From a hygiene and standards practice it was just INCREDIBLY odd. It is the first and only time I have encountered this anomaly in some 25 years of being what I consider to be a foodie-centric, generally resto-super friendly person. Desserts were solid, too, but in-between… well, the two main dishes (a not-exactly-fresh arctic char and an overly fatty lamb) were both tiny in portion and just disappointing in terms of flavour profile. LOVED this place back in 2018 when I sat solo at the old bar and was wowed by the inventiveness of it all but what with rising price cost inflation the reality of a nice place becoming “well-known” the major hike in overall cost did not (sadly) merit the price. Also, the wine pours were a tad skimpy @ $65/pp for what is ultimately 2.5 glasses total. I wanted to rave… but it is simply not the same place. Unfortunately, to put it mildly.

   It's a great restaurant. The food is the best thing about it. I find the service unequal. I find some of the servers overly enthusiastic and artificially friendly, making the experience sometimes annoying. But overall, an amazing place to eat.

   Plats d'exception. Décor magnifique. Le seul bémol est que le service était ''trop attentionné'' Les serveurs n'hésitaient pas à couper notre conversation pour nous demander si tout était à notre gout pendant et après chaque plat, et dans un repas de 10 services, c'est vraiment fatiguant.
