The decor and staff were excellent. There were 3 of us and the steak was so tough I couldn’t eat it(they did take a few dollars off even though I only ate 2 bites.) My friends chicken on a pasta dish was so dry they couldn’t eat it either. We were very disappointed as we went specifically for the food.

The food was good, but didn't knock our socks off. The biggest complaint I had about our meal was paying $10 for the peanut butter cup dessert. I expected a lot more for that price. Very cool ambiance and a live band was playing there as well.

We had reservations for 4 so we had no wait to be seated. The restaurant was not full anyway. After we ordered we waited about 40+ minutes for our food. I didn't get what I ordered so it had do go back-so I waited another 10 minutes. My husband asked for an extra egg in his huevos rancheros which he didn't get but we were charged for. Our two daughters both ordered waffles that arrived barely warm and soggy on the bottom (one look over cooked) so I think our food was sitting in the kitchen a while. And the french fries arrived the same way. The best part of our visit was the live band, they were amazing and made out wait more tolerable.

Deviled eggs were so good! Bloody Mary was fabulous. Mimosa was small and overpriced. The french fries were not the best. Basic bar fries, but the chicken sandwich was delish!

Good food as always, sorry to see a lot of the artwork removed, and the pricing is becoming nickel and dime customers to the point they may look elsewhere before returning. Be careful with that...Stiff penalties for people who don't show for any reason, 15% added to every check, reason to pause before going back.

We don't penalize folks who don't show for any reason, rather request an hour heads up if ya can't make it. The service charge is also in line with a lot of new pricing models upon re-open, though that being said, it is always valuable to receive feedback on how it's being interpreted and we appreciate it greatly!

Restaurant was cool, and lots of menu options. There are signs all over the restaurant telling about how fast the service is, but it took us over 2 hours to get our food and the restaurant was not busy or full whatsoever. I do not necessarily need to get my food incredibly fast, but waiting for 2 hours is quite a bit. Super bummed about this experience!

Live music was the right volume (and one of us in the party is very sensitive) so we could still speak. While great crowd, still could hear. Great atmosphere and food and service with a range of process on the menu. Very welcoming space for all and multiple age levels. Great welcome!

Our service was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations when asked. Food was very good, right thru to the apple pie dessert. The sound was pretty good - we were in a new (to us) room with a decent sound level. We’ll go back again.

Food lacked flavor. Wait staff left something to be desired. I usually tip 20%, but you are forced to tip 15% minimum. My server didn’t earn 15%.

Food was great but our server - not so much. And 15% is automatically added onto tab now. So she got a pretty decent tip for crappy service.

We were in Minneapolis for five days for a conference, and we were so impressed by Hells Kitchen that we went back three more times. The ambience, the servers, the drinks, the food, the fact that it’s employee owned all combine to make it an incredible experience. Darwin’s martini is probably the best take on an espresso martini that I have ever had.

Lunch experience was terrible. We arrived at 11:45 for our reservation (which required a credit card!) and were seated right away. Our server greeted us after about 10 minutes. We ordered toast to start and lunch entrees. After one hour, our entrees still hadn't arrived. The table next to us, who were seated 10 minutes after us and had 7 guests (we had 3), had completed their lunch 10 minutes prior to my asking to speak with a manager. The manager came over and said she would look into why our food wasn't out yet. She came back a few minutes later and told us that we had appetizers (our 4 pieces of toast), so we couldn't expect our meal to come out at the same time as the other table. The manager was rude, the restaurant was severely understaffed, and the food was very mediocre. The entire experience took more than 1.5 hours. FOR LUNCH! The bill was $80 for 3 of us. Gotta love that 15% "SERVICE CHARGE". Not going back!

Server ignored us, had to wait 40 minutes for 3 dishes and refills of water (after asking twice). Decor was nice, but food was over cooked and did not live up to its hype.

Service was really off. Made reservations- were told if we didn’t show we would be charged $50! We showed!! The place was less than half full- why have a surcharge and such rigid reservation rules for a place that was no where near full? If the answer is because you don’t have the staff, then don’t accept reservations or open up all the rooms. We couldn’t get drinks timely, couldn’t get our tab timely. No utensils. No plates for shareable. No one checked in on us. No refills. The table next too was having the same issue. The service was crap. Food was good. But too much of a production.

The cancellation policy is in place so we're not holding tables unnecessarily as on days like this as we do (and did) fill up, but seating is paced, we don't flood the place at once. This is standard practice and all we need is a phone call to cancel. That being said, you certainly should have had a server and we are investigating internally under your reservation. A fun environment for a special event! The music and vibe were fantastic, but the service was a bit slow being a holiday (Mother's Day) and one of our orders was incorrect. We enjoyed the build your own mimosa bar and they made it really special for moms with a personalized name card and special dessert + photo booth treat. The food was a bit burned but we still enjoyed the experience

Hells Kitchen was slammed for Mothers Day so servers were a little backed up but did great overall - attentive and friendly. Fantastic meal, great atmosphere, fun vibe and overall excellent choice for our family. One of the true downtown mainstays to not only get through COVID but come out much better and on top of their game!

We had reservations and arrived a few mins early. Clearly the staff was behind and didn’t appear to be happy we were there are at all. The service was subpar and the food was.. meh. We about 75mins from the time we ordered until or breakfast was served. The waitress would disappear for huge lengths of time. Tracking her down to order a second round of drinks was nearly impossible. My entree was cold to the touch the others were just “okay”. They automatically add gratuity. Frustrating. Don’t plan on returning.

The food and service were exceptional. My only issue is that I really wanted the French Dip. I thought the base price of the sandwich was on the high side, $23.95, that was just for the meat & bread. If you wanted cheese or mushrooms or onions, they were priced a la carte. My sandwich would have been $28 …..I’ve been to some great restaurants all over the country and have never paid even paid what they are charging for the base price.

I ordered the fish and chips with "tossed greens" instead of chips. The fish batter had an unpleasant taste. The greens were the dandelion leaf variety (bitter). The vinegar bottle had no spiggot, so too much vinegar came out. There were no foreign beers offered other than Stella Artois. For the poor quality of the food, the price was too much. I won't eat there again.

There was a band playing which is why I noted a moderate noise level, but I certainly didn’t mind! The food and atmosphere were great! Service is always awesome. Excited to come back again and try the dinner menu!
