A must for anyone visiting Montreal. Food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. Staff is professional and friendly. One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in many a year!

It’s more than the food and the service which are both excellent. It’s a Time Capsule of restaurants of the golden years, I. A historic building (although someone thought art deco bar lights go well with the renaissance ceiling and chandeliers but …).

I have never seen such an uninviting table. The table was jammed against the server workstation and about 12 inches/30 cm from the next table. Throughout the meal we experienced constant traffic from the kitchen and clanging of utensils, glasses etc. The meal was fine, but we skipped apps and dessert due to a lack of ambiance. I suspect they were understaffed that night as the servers were practically running.

This is a very busy place with good service and quality food. Nice location as well. I had the seafood risotto which was ok, however, my guests had the fish of the day which looked better.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the food is sublime. We had the lamb and the filet migno; both were absolutely succulent and cooked to perfection. The accompanying root vegetables and mushrooms were delicious and beautifully seasoned. We had the vegan chocolate cookie and the tart tatin for dessert. It was my birthday, so my dessert arrived with a sparkler, which added an air of festivity!

Très bon service, bonne nourriture, mais extrêmement dispendieux, une salade de betterave en entrée à 26$ (surtout pour les quelques quatre à cinq betteraves) et que dire du plateau d'huîtres (5.$ huître elles ont beau être très bonnes ça ne vaut pas ça) ... Nous y étions allés il y a deux ans et le prix était convenable mais là c'est vraiment hors de prix. Disons que nous n'y retournerons plus !
