    We had the best time at Her Father's Cider Bar. Everything we ordered was delicious, I love the cider selection and the service was also amazing. Great value for money too. Highly recommend this spot!

    Cider and service was good but food was a little lacklustre. The hummus was good as were the brussel sprouts. Steak was tender but side potato dish was underwhelming. Overall the cider is well worth it to return. Selection was fantastic.

    Tapas style but larger helpings. Flavours unusual and exceptional. Vegetable dishes take centre stage. Cider pairs wonderfully. Service quiet and very personable. Definitely worth more visits.

    Wonderful original menu that is seasonal. The fried maple leaf was delicious. The brussel sprouts were amazing. Lot's of Gluten Free options. Portion sizes are generous. Incredible service. We will go back.

    We had an amazing night. Our server made our anniversary so so special and memorable. Both the food and drinks were amazing. It’s been my go-to place for special occasions and celebrations for a while now and this more than solidified that tradition.

    The variety of dishes available was very good but the portions were really small and overpriced. And the noise level was impossible. Could not carry on any conversation. I will not be back.

    This is definitely my new go to place. Great food, great vibe and very knowledgeable staff. Price is really reasonable and the food was family style (small share plates) and really unique dishes. A must try👍🏻

    The appetizers were delicious although ask about the spice level before you order. The shrimp dish was good but if you order it for an entree you need two side dishes. We shared a dessert which was not a dish we would order again. Our server was lovely.

    The food is excellent. I enjoyed the maple leaf in my cocktail, which was well prepared. Just the dessert (apple pie) was disappointing.

    Huge selection of ciders, expert help picking a sampler. Menu full of delicious and interesting pairings served by the platter to share. So much fun. Pretty patio with propane heaters. Great location.

    My fiance is a celiac so we came here for the string focus on gluten free foods. The food was absolutely delicious. We had brunch beef sliders, fried chicken and waffles, and home fries. The cider list was great, we settled for a black dog cider (strange and delicious - we highly recommend). Excellent service and experience. Will come again!

    Very tasty and creative food, with superb service. I hit my head hard in the basement restroom on a bulkhead six feet off the floor above the urinal. Somebody had painted the bulkhead the *same colour* as the wall, unwittingly camouflaging it. On closer inspection I could see that for a couple inches around where I hit my head the paint had been gently worn away -- surely by multiple other headbutts from diners over six feet tall. I told staff that the bulkhead requires a warning sign or similar ASAP.

    My friend and I shared a delicious dinner and drinks here last night! There was just one man serving the dining room as it was a quieter Sunday evening but he expertly tended to customers and ran food orders. He was very patient as we decided what to order, offering suggestions and thoughtfully answering our questions. The crispy brussels sprouts with bacon and maple and cheddar… mind blowing! Sweet, savoury, fatty, crunchy… They got better with every bite and were nicely contrasted by the other dish we ordered—the mint and basil bucatini. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the almonds added a nice crunch, while the ricotta salata contributed a subtle creamy element against the sharp flavours of the herbs with the whole dish rounded out by some hot, possibly pickled, chili peppers. Our drinks were yummy! My friend got the flight of 3 ciders whereas I opted for just a glass (which was filled to the brim with delicious bubbly sour Ontario plum cider). The portions were generous and the restaurant was warm and cozy. I only wish the music was not so loud—we were sat directly below a speaker. However, the music selection was well-curated! This restaurant is consistently good in terms of food, service, and vibe and I highly recommend it!

    We have been dining her since they opened. It’s great to experience the thoughtful new items that have been added to the menu whilst we continue to keep the fan favourites that we love. We don’t drink alcohol so we don’t partake of their extensive cider selection. I can only imagine that those that do, enjoy the full dining experience all the more.

    We must have ordered 10 items from the menu....standouts were the scallops which were some of the best I've eaten. Fried chicken and Brussel sprouts were also really good

    It was great, the chicken was my favourite for sure and their ciders are great! The vibes are very chill and we had our puppy with us and had a chance to relax with him on the patio. Definitely recommend!

    As a New Yorker, I am relatively used to great ambiance, with good food and good service. It's the third time I have come to Her Father's Cider and it's always my first option when in Toronto. The food was superb, the selection of cider was above anything else I've had before, and the service was simply perfect! This time I hooked up all my local friends to this place. LOVED IT the first time I visited 3 years ago and still love it every single time.

    This is our favourite restaurant. The staff are very friendly and professional and the food is delicious. They have a new menu with some exceptional new items. I ate a crispy maple leaf for the first time last evening. The maitake mushroom dish is excellent as well. I highly recommend that you book a table and give them a try.

    A beautiful warm fall evening for three people to catch up on the patio after three years of not connecting except over Zoom. It would have been a pleasure under almost any circumstances, but the cider and food at Her Father's Cider Bar doubled the possibilities...as it has done in the past. So much has changed as COVID has done its damage, but it's wonderful to find some things that have staying power!
