Really enjoyed our dinner. The drinks were fairly priced and the pineapple ginger margarita was very tasty. All our entrees were well seasoned and hot. I will go back again.

Our food was very tasty. We had excellent service and our server was friendly and very prompt on serving us. Our meals came hot and ready to eat. We look forward to returning to Highland House in the near future.

It was very busy so service was a bit slow. We were never offered water and you have to order and pay for chips and salsa now. I had a huge, very good margarita, so that was a good deal for the cost. Our meals did come quickly once we ordered and were all generous sizes and delicious. It was noisy though we were seated in a back corner, so it wasn't so bad at our table. Happy to see a place hopping with happy people these days.

Great place to take out of town guests. Wide variety of food options for any family with picky members. Can't best a margarita with chips and Guacamole.

Nice outdoor dining space with heaters when needed. Chips, guacamole and salsa are very good along with their margaritas!! Our server, Tanner was excellent…a nice young man working hard!!

The food was quite awful. Upon ordering a BBQ chicken salad, I would assume the chicken to be freshly cooked and warm - not cold and gelatinous. The fried tacos were soggy and it took us 20 minutes to get a side of avocado.

Highland House has a varied menu and everything that I've ordered has been very tasty, at a good temperature, and served looking very appetizing. The server was very efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is very inviting. I look forward to returning.

The only thing I had to say that was negative is that the food almost came out too quickly. We had just gotten our drinks and a basket of chips and salsa when the food came out probably only five minutes after you ordered it. But that’s being nitpicky. The meals were great.

We had a reservation for outside and the wait staff was good and very efficient. Our food came cold and really substandard except for the guacamole. My fish taco dish was inedible and I only ate the appetizer that we ordered.

Madison was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. Appetizers and drinks came quick followed by our entrees. The food was delicious, as always. The kitchen was spot on tonight!

Start with a giant basket of chips & salsa, add great service & fabulous Mexican food, and it’s a winner! Only caution is to avoid the steak options - it’s a bit chewy for me. Then again, I prefer my beef moo-ing!

Honestly happily surprised after reading so many bad reviews. The staff was super friendly, food came out fairly quickly and was super yummy. We had lunch outside which I highly recommend. It's festive and comfortable. We had a couple of their bowls as well as a beef chimichanga. Sides were fine, although I'm a black bean fan more than refried beans. The chips/queso/quac combo app was huge; very yummy. I'd definitely return for another meal, and probably try a margarita on rocks. Back in the day, I waitered through high school and college so appreciate the staff we had and how smoothly everything went for the three of us.

Not as many people there due to Memorial Day weekend. Service was efficient & super fast. Had my usual chicken pineapple stir fry. It was hot & tasty. Peach margarita was excellent. Using open table to make the reservation was fantastic & very easy to use. We were seated immediately upon arrival!

Made a reservation at 6:15 and was told by annoyed hostess that actually was not a reservation but a seating preference. Nothing said that on site. Food is the height of mediocre. Will avoid in the future.

We dined at Highland House on Mother's Day and it was extremely crowded. We were seated in the back of the restaurant where the noise level was moderate and very comfortable. Our server was great, knowledgeable, and very energetic. Our food was really good and we will definitely come back again. During the summer the patio dining is really nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors.

The chicken fiesta bowl lacked flavor. I think there were three small pieces of chicken in there. Our server did not offer us any refills of our tea or soda. the southwest rollups were good.
