I always enjoy my time here. The management and wait staff are very professional, caring, and friendly. When I ask for a specific table or spot that may be quieter etc. they always try to accommodate that. We took our time last night but waitress was very understanding, friendly and fun.

We go here more than any other restaurant! The food and the service and consistently good, and it's a nice family owned restaurant with a nice but not stuffy atmosphere. The only thing this place needs is a kid's menu!

We order a bowl of fright rice and yakisoba. Both came with no taste. I expected typical Japanese flavors but the dishes looked like fast food ( and bad ones). We bring back the food home and re-prepared them to improve the taste. I felt pretty disappointed because the restaurant has a lot of good recommendations (maybe only for the rolls!). But I give a high note to the service. Despite everything, my waiter was awesome.

Been going to Hiro for many years, food is reliably great, no matter the selection. I do not recommend the back room--was so loud had to be asked to move. No ambience out there as opposed to the main dining room--so stick with that. Hiro, please bring back the paper sushi menus and pencils--it's part of the experience!

Great atmospheric place. Staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. I just wish the food matched everything else. The flavor of the sushi was blah, the rice almost turned to mush in your mouth. We didn't even finish the sushi and honestly were powering through it. This is now our 3rd time over 3 years we have had bad sushi. Was hoping things had improved. Hope they can figure out a solution.

Service has been very spotty of late. It is clear the servers favor repeat diners. We waited 15 minutes till our server showed up, and asked for a drink menu (the online one didn’t work). Meanwhile, patrons greeted by staff who came in after us received their first course within 10 minutes. Things improved once I contacted the manager, but this is starting to become the norm here.

I give them high marks for everything except ambiance. The ambiance was ruined by a large TV screen at eye level directly behind our table. At times it was so bright that it was blinding, but at nearly all times it made it difficult to see the person directly across the table from you. Very distracting and totally unnecessary. At the least, the TV should be moved higher so it's not right at eye level.

My family & I had lunch together after church. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a very nice ambiance. Even as it got busy the layout of the restaurant kept it from getting too noisy. We visited during reverse happy hour which had a limited menu in which we took advantage of and ordered 3 appetizers and 6 different sushi rolls and the pork buns. Everything was delicious! We loved all of the food we ordered. We will definitely return!
