Great place for a special occasion. Excellent food, service and great value, as long as you don't add in drinks and other appetizers. The location is peaceful and a wonderful place to walk around.

Gabulous dining experience. Our party of 6 enjoyed various options on the 4 course menu. Each one was pleased with flavor profiles and portion size. The wine pairing option was readsonably priced and a great addition to the dishes we enjoyed. Highky revommend this restaurant!

Our experience was very good with one exception and that was the noise level. There was a table of about 8 people located near our table of 5 and although they were not excessively boisterous, the noise level was so loud that the five of us had to practically shout to make ourselves heard. The food was excellent as was the service. The pricing was a bit on the high end but was about what one would expect from a place with the reputation of Holly Hill.

The food and service was outstanding, Holly Hill has become one of our favorite places. They even went out of their way to have special flowers on our table for our anniversary, much appreciated and beautiful.

My Momma was in town visiting and we just knew one of the things we wanted to do was take her to Holly Hill Inn for brunch. The brunch was fabulous!!! Thank you for making it a perfect Sunday for our family!!

Holly Hill is a charming setting for a lively dining experience. We really enjoyed old South ambience and many unique decorations. Our 3-course brunch was very good, but our food came out very slowly. Server was friendly and helpful!

If you haven't had a chance to dine at the Holly Hill Inn, you have been missing out on a locally sourced, always novel, creative menu. Our server Connor took us through our 4 course plus appetizer experience. We ended our night with a French press, a quick chat with Chef Hannah, and a walk through their kitchen garden.

We always enjoy the Holly Hill Inn, though this time our food selection was restricted to a price fix menu. And while the food was excellent, we felt the service was a bit lacking considering the price point as our waiter was clearly overloaded. Again, great food and ambiance, but not perfect in this regard. Will be back for sure.

one quarter slice tomato for an appetizer the salad was okay the quail was two bites, at the most with dessert, the ice cream melted and couldn't cut the cake with a fork the lamb was full of gristle it was inedible

We were guided through our five courses by our amazing server Connor. After our dinner, saute chef Ian took us on a short tour of the kitchen garden where they source many ingredients for their Farm to Table menu. If you would like to enjoy an innovative menu while in a historical, artistic house, this place is for you. As for us, we will be back each month for their new menu.

We were seated on the lovely porch at Holly Hill Inn. It was so tranquil and rejuvenating and the brunch was wonderful. The food selection is so well matched to the place…beautifully prepared and delicious.

Holly Hill has always been a favorite but was disappointed on this visit. Food as always was very flavorful and well cooked. The entree serving size of salmon was underwhelming and the lamb tough to cut. We were not informed that it was fixe menu price with limited entrees. Four choices were 3 fish and lamb. Little choice for the guest. Some common bar items were unavailable. When we asked about the fixe price menu we were told “well it’s on our website”. When looked at the website later there was no mention and other menu items shown. Thought the fixe price was overpriced.

Perfection! Top notch all around. The service is impeccable. The location is gorgeous - recommend the porch seating if possible. The food was so fresh and innovative and delicious. I couldn't have alcohol so I was very happy to see a mocktail option - which was superb. Absolutely will return!

Outstanding place for Brunch. Our first visit in 15 years since its not around the corner. Everything was excellent, ambiance, background jazz, menu and service...with one exception that dinged it a star. My delicious Eggs Benedict was barely warm. I did not send it back and enjoyed it anyway but I'm guessing it may have sat waiting for my wife's wonderful shrimp and grits. Otherwise the food and menu choices were excellent. We will return.

Went for restaurant week. Food was great, most impressed by the starters/apps. Ambience was very nice, service was great. However, the wine pairing was not good. 5/5 stars to the food, 1/5 on the wine pairing, just not good wine. We were seated in a room off the front, it was incredibly quiet when we first arrived, having to whisper/talk in hushed voices. Once the middle table arrived for their reservation, it helped and became more comfortable. We loved the creative flavors and will definitely be back. This was our first visit to holly hill inn. Having the restaurant week menu was a great introduction and we plan to come back for a more elaborate tasting menu in the near future.

Food was great, as always, even though the menu was abbreviated since it was Lexington Restaurant Week. Staff went out of its way to adapt to our food allergies. They remembered we were celebrating an anniversary and brought us a hand drawn card signed by the entire staff. Our upstairs seating was a bit warm, expected in an old house on a 95 degree afternoon. Don't have enough thumbs to put up for our overall experience!

I love Holly Hill Inn. Had the opportunity to sit on the front porch. It was delightful. Beautiful flower gardens and trees. Such lovely surroundings. And even on a very warm night, the temperature was quite comfortable in the shade. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the food so much. Each course was unusual and delicious.
